Find out what Cuban restaurants to try in Varadero. The powdery sands of Varadero are as seductive as the soft lapping of the Kawama Channel waves. Famed gangster Al Capone used to frequent the shoreline resorts, and the city still maintains that glamorous luster that’s been historically appealing to high rollers. Mansions-turned-museums are favorite destinations for curious Cuban history buffs. Nature lovers can embark upon a day of adventure, exploring the area’s caves, keys, and virgin forests.

Prestigious Restaurant specializing in French and international cuisine, located in the emblematic Xanadu Mansion, declared a National Monument since 2013,also Club House of Varadero Golf Club. In addition to the exquisite food, you can appreciate one of
This was the closest to a fine dining experience we found in Cuba in terms of service at least, the food was certianly above average, but not excellent, but the waiting staff were attentive and courteous. We visited the house earlier in the day for the price of 2cuc and stopped off in the roof bar for a drink. Unfortunately the roof was being renovated whilst we were there meaning that the windows were blocked by scaffolding, but nonetheless the view is spectacular.

The bar was closed when we passed by but it was nice to view the building from the outside with Beatles memorabilia adorning the walls. I must admit I thought the statues weren't 'spot on' but you could work out who was who.

We had lunch here and kept it light so we split a fish finger appetizer. We both loved it and our pina coladas to. One of the best restaurants in Varadero is directly across the street but Don Alex is better value for the money.

Quiet, shady, family-owned spot right near the beach. We came twice for lunch and had great conversations with the waitress. More options than most restaurants in the area, and a nice place to relax after being in the sunWe feel very happy to pleased you in our family restaurant,,we hope your stay at our place were as exciting as we were to have clients like you...hoping to see you again!

I came to this place after having been to the beach and guess what? The waiter didnât let me and my family go in, because our cloths were wet. I mean your restaurant is I the beach in case you havenât noticed. I wouldnât have minded seating outside or even covering my seat with a plastic wrap, but the fact that this place in VARADERO BEACH does not have accommodation for people that come from the beach just blows my mind. If you are looking for a palace to eat n Varadero, I would recommend Wacoâs Club, way better.

Located in Cuba's prime beach resort, Varadero, 4 years of experience serving succulent haute cuisine meals to local and international customers have earned Salsa Suarez many true and loyal advocates. Probably, the most awe-inspiring and all-encompassing
All wrong!? I just donât get it. Is it because Cuban restaurants are generally awful that a nice looking place with tidy waiting staff and a kitchen putting effort into presentation of food has everyone fooled? Smoke and mirrors? It just wasnât good...at all. The chicken dish had that smell and taste of chicken on the edge of off. The pork dish was over-cooked and covered in what tasted like barbecue sauce from a jar and the cream spaghetti was just poor as they obviously lack the ingredients necessary. This may not be their fault but at the overall price it just isnât worth it.

Found this restaurant through trip advisor. A beautiful little restaurant hidden from the main strip, really attentive professional staff and lovely surroundings. You can eat on the balcony or inside the airconned restaurant. My wife had the Salmon and Parmesan Lasagne for starter, amazing. I had pickled Lobster and it was lovely. Mains were fish and fillet mignon, both cooked well and very tasty.Well worth the walk, you wont be disappointed !

We added a spanish wine to top off the meal and were as usual completely satisfied. See you again next year.
