Unmatched ocean views, best "barraca" in Praia do Forte. The food is delicious and simply prepared. Try the aipim frito as a snack with cold beer, or a whole fried fish served with regional side dishes and hot sauce on the side. Service is friendly and efficient. Tables are cleaner than usual for outdoor restaurant. The kitchen is very clean too -- I saw it went I went to thank the cooks for my delicious meal.

After a day of rough bus journeys my friends and I were all seeking some great food and hospitality - we were not dissapointed! This place ticked all of the boxes:- great service- friendly staff- excellent food (generous portion sizes too)- relaxing atmosphereWe enjoyed our first experience so much we visited again the following day. Highly recommend!

I went into Praia do Forte looking for crepes for brunch and was thwarted because the place I wanted was closed. So I turned around and there was a simple little restaurant just opening its doors for lunch, pick what ever you want from a Nordestino food selection smorg and pay Por Kilo i.e. by weight. Perhaps it wasn't a normal breakfast BUT it was good simply presented Bahian food with too many choices to mention but we took a bit of every thing, my wife and I left STUFFED to the gills for about 30 dollars. Not the slightest bit sophisticated, but excellent meat and veggies. The staff were helpful, kind and pleasant.A nice surprise, very good at what it does. Will be happy to go back.

Of the 3 days spent at Praia do Forte, we had lunch here on two of them. The food is simply FANTASTIC. Preparation is impeccable, presentation as well, but the taste is out of this world! We ate a moqueca for one (which served two grown women with ease) which was simply delicious. I cannot emphasise how GOOD this dish was. The children had some fish and vegetables from the kids menu, and had a feast as well. A plus for this restaurant is that they have a playing area for children, which is incredibly helpful for parents. They also have a baby changing table and at least one high chair. It's located on the varanda of a building, so you can see the coming and froing of the people without being directly onto the street. Staff were extremely nice and accommodated all of our requests (especially to make potate puree for the children), albeit a bit on the slow side. Come early if you want to choose your place and sit by the playing area. I will come back to Mediterraneus again and again, definitely, every time I'm in Praia do Forte!

Very tasty . This Association of cassava producers turns on the days of the week to provide and make the delicious Tapioca. Several flavors and at a fair price. Very picturesque. Be sure to try it. Several tourists from Argentina and Europe were at the same time on the spot. It is on the main street of beach shops.

The restaurant is in the village centre. Nice decor, no air conditioning but the fans make it work. The moqueca is aboslutely great. We came back twice!

Everything we had there was tasty! The bruschettas were great and the risottos( mushroons and other with salmon, pinaple and champagne!) were outstanding! Seriously! I love risotto, so I have eaten in different places, I know what I'm talking about!The decoration is nice and because it's located a little out of the Main Street, it is a calm and romantic ambient.

Decent- leaning towards expensive prices, amount of food was ok, but I was still hungray afterwards. Food was nothing particularly great. After reading the other reviews on tripadvisor, I was kind of disappointed as I had expected more of this place.
