Amazing service by everyone, especially by Noell. She is so sweet and thoughtful. Wings appetizer was delicious. The wings are a nice size and well coated with the sauce of your choice. The Pasta Bella Vista was so good; it has a tomato Alfredo sauce that looks and tastes like a wonderful rosé sauce. The chicken and broccoli Alfredo was also wonderful. The portions are very generous. We stop here every time we’re in Massena. Come on over; you’ll love it!

I stop here for breakfast every 6 months while visiting parents. I find that the breakfast sandwiches, baked goods, and particularly atmosphere is above Dunkin Donuts for a slightly lower cost. The coffee is at par with D&D. This is a great option for those forced to visit this town.

The management and staff are not very tolerant with people with disabilities. The food is average. My 12-year-old daughter does not like their ice cream, and they always get the drive through order wrong!!!! I would not recommend this place. For the price, there are much better places to go in Massena. Try Wendy's dinner on Main Street!

At Vino Vidi Vici we provide a truly unique dining experience. Whether a classic pizza, or gourmet five course meal, experience the difference at Vino Vidi Vici. We focus on using the freshest ingredients and we make everything in house from scratch. We are newly located in historic Downtown Massena in the restaurant space connected to the Quality Inn with a full bar, large dining room, and private dining and banquet spaces to host your special event.
I had previously eaten at Vino Vidi Vici in their old location in Harte Plaza several times and enjoyed it very much. Their new location, in the former Club II Restaurant is great, being on the corner of West Orvis and Main Streets, in the Quality Inn. They have done a nice job of making it brighter and their own.
Unfortunately, the food and service did not live up to the new environment. The restaurant was not busy, there being 4 tables, and at least 4 servers on duty. My experience was colored by a poorly trained new hire, but there were failings in the kitchen as well. I ordered the Fra Diavalo pasta with an add-on of a grilled chicken breast, and it came initially with no chicken, so back it went to the kitchen. I must say the chicken was the best part. The penne pasta was more than al dente, and the vodka sauce was bland, despite asking for a medium spicy dish. I thought that they were no longer serving bread, since I did not receive any. When, at the end of the meal, I saw that other tables had received a basket and I enquired, the server apologized and said I could take one home.
Overall, a disappointment. When I spoke to the hostess, the only thing she had to offer was that my server was new. Obviously, they thought that no training was necessary. It may be a long while before I try it again.

This place has an air of despair. Things used to be good at one time but not so much now. The exterior needs cleaning and painting and the interior needs brightening. The food was good though. I had a hamburger that was clearly fresh, not frozen. My husband had a grill cheese with the best French fries. The waitress was uber friendly and seemed to know everyone personally. I would expect this place to be featured on Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives.

Family owned and operated since 1949. Third generation restauranteurs
We had to stay in Massena for a night after dropping our son off at Clarkson University. My iPhone recommended The Village Inn and we decided to give it a try. The classic decor and friendly and attentive service were encouraging, the food bland and heavy though it certainly didn't lack in the quantity department. Unfortunately, several hours after we returned to our hotel my husband became violently ill and remained that way all night. So....not such good memories.

We were visiting my husband's hometown of Massena and we decided to go to Spanky's for breakfast. It's a typical diner and it definitely had a hometown feel as many of the customers knew each other. Our waitress was extremely friendly and efficient. We ordered and got our food within minutes. The food all appears to be homemade, even the bread and you get ample portions of everything. The ham omelette was filled to the brim with meat and cheese and it was delicious as was the homemade raisin bread. The cinnamon rolls are to die for too. The prices are more than reasonable. The fun part is that I read a book on haunted buildings of Northern New York and Spanky's is on the list. I asked our waitress if she had ever experienced anything of the "haunting kind" and she said she had. Whether you believe in that sort of thing or not, it's still fun to talk about.
We loved Spanky's...ghosts and all. We only wish we lived closer so we could go there more often.

Four of us dropped by here to enjoy crispy wings, pizza and drinks. Service is always efficient and friendly, and the food is consistently delicious. Wings are renowned for their taste at this restaurant. And the prices are very reasonable. God Bless
