I truly can't stop thinking about their Almond Curried Chicken. It was absolutely delicious. My friend had the pumpkin curry and loved it just as much. It's a wonderful BYOB restaurant right in the heart of Davis. With a liquor store right on the corner, it makes complete sense.I'll 100% be making a return trip!

For over 30 years, it has been our pride to serve Medford and its surrounding towns the superior quality of our Chinese/Polynesian cuisine with a friendly smile. Our well-known elegantly decorated Function Room can accommodate Parties of 120 people; let u
For the 4th or 5th time now in over about 6 years, my extended family (at least 10 people each time) have met at Tiki Island and we always have a great time with really enjoyable food. This is a typical Boston area old school Chinese restaurant with better than average Tiki drinks and food. For our group of 10 (no kids) the total cost with 12 Tiki drinks came in at just under $300 with tip. A true value. We always go to Tiki Island when we are in the Medford area visiting family.

Two friends took me to Nijiya for the all you can eat lunch buffet. My friends had dined here before so they knew the drill. Apparently there is a system and you need to know what to do before you place your order. There were several menus on the table, but there were some paper menus for the sushi buffet where you indicate exactly what you want and how many of each. Just make sure you order from the correct menu that is for the all you can eat sushi buffet, if that is what you want. Otherwise you can eat off the separate menu with other offerings. If you don't go with someone who knows the ropes, I would ask how it works first. Believe me, everything was delicious and although I am small and can't eat tons, I thought I could justify the cost. It was all fresh and I can't wait to go back for more Rainbow Maki.Oh and after we had finished our first platter of sushi, we were able to order more. It is better to only order what you think you can eat...this is a buffet and you can't take home leftovers. My friend said that if you leave lots uneaten, you can get charged more. I have no idea if that is true, but there is no point in wasting food. The restaurant has different buffets for lunch and dinner (additional items) and the price of the buffet varies depending upon the day and if it lunch or dinner. Be sure to check their website for the details. We were there on a Wednesday for lunch and the charge was $14.50 each.I am not a sushi expert, but I really enjoyed this little gem. One of my friends is a sushi expert and this is where they took me, so I have to think this is a good choice.

It is a hole in the wall kind of a place in downtown Medford. Came recommended to us as a great place to have Sichuan food. We are very used to eating Sichuan food in places like Sichuan Gourmet in Framingham and Billerica and also at Spice Pepper Garden in Acton. We found the food here to be average. What was really good:Hot and sour soup with minced shrimpChicken corn and egg drop soupLamb with napa cabbage and chili powderWhat was OK:Catfish fillet with red chillies in oil (very favorful, but very bland inspite of the red chillies)What was terrible:Pad ThaiThai iced tea(Yes, why would you order Thai dishes in a Chinese restaurant, but when kids love these, we had to)The waiters were helpful, but around 9pm, we found them eating their dinner on a table across from us. The restaurant closes at 930pm, so we found this to be very unprofessional. They interrupted up their dinner to come over to us to serve us water or to pick up the check. I found this to be very unprofessional. Hence the average rating.

Blue Fuji's food was phenomenal. We loved our food. Our only criticism was that the appetizers and entrees were brought at the same time. Service was very good; portions were large, and the atmosphere was very nice. Our dishes included mushroom soup, hot and sour soup, scallion pie, shrimp and vegetable tempura, shrimp and broccoli, spicy green beans and jasmine rice.

This small restaurant serves up big flavors from its huge menu of various Asian cuisines. The hot dishes were appropriately hot (dishes marked with three chilies really cause sweats). The curries are particularly good. Although the waitress was pleasant, we had some issues with the timing of the delivery of the food. Recommendation: if you want your dishes delivered in a particular order (for example, soup before the main course), order that dish and wait until it arrives before ordering the next course.

Came here for our son's birthday. The modern reservation system required your cell number - which allowed us to roam around the neighborhood a bit. We dined in a large seating area. The ramen bowl was tasty, loved the soft-boiled egg and the fried dumplings (gyoza) were excellent. Service was attentive and friendly.

I would return. I was skeptical the first time I tried this place because generally when a restaurant has sushi and General Gau's chicken, it's not a good sign. However, I have to say that this place does both sushi and familiar Chinese favorites pretty well. Nice clean decor, service is adequate. Good if you have a group to please or if you want a little of both.
