We booked this restaurant for our 35 th anniversary. First off I will not complain about the food or the service both were good. But listen up folks. I read others reviews and I ignored them. Shouldnât have. This was the worst romantic dinner I have ever had. First of all this is a restaurant thatâs better for groups of 4. The two tops are on top of each other. I read that in others reviews but on top is exactement !!!!! We had a two top next to a 3 top on the left and a two top on the right and another table for two exactly 2 inches from us. We asked if they would not seat that as there were 7 2 tops at front empty. Nope we got a young Asian couple dressed down. Which means gym shorts and a hoodie and a t shirt and shorts next to us. Speaking loud the whole meal. NOTE. At the front door is a sign posted. Appropriate dress only. They were not Worthless sign since they donât enforce it It ruined our anniversary dinner Next another dinner here noted how dark it was As the evening progressed I could literally not see my meal and had to use my I phone to cut my duck. Not joking not making it up Go somewhere else for romantic meal. Again the food was good. The service was good. The restaurant is pretty for parties over 4 unless you like practically sitting on Other diners laps and eating in the dark

Ok so it is not really hidden, just found by accident. Loving small plate restaurants we thought we would give it a try. Loved the decor. Waiter was supper helpful. Drinks were different and delicious. We asked for help ordering and waiter suggested chef tasting menu. Which was fabulous. Even better 1 person in our party of four has a dairy allergy and the kitchen perfectly substituted and plated his portions seamlessly. Would definitely recommend and return. Hello, Thank you so much for your kind review. We are happy you enjoyed our Chef's tasting menu and your overall dining experience with us here at SRV. We hope to host you again soon! Barcelona Wine Bar & Restaurant is a warm and welcoming tapas bar inspired by the culture of Spain. The ever-changing menu is focused on clean flavors, seasonal ingredients, specialties from Spain and the Mediterranean, and rustic small plate presentation
We sat at an outside table, as the inside of the restaurant seemed like it could get a little noisy. The service was excellent from everybody, including the person at the reservations desk. The restaurant has a large selection of wine and cocktails, and the prices were not crazy. There were many excellent tapas dishes. There were four of us, and we ordered at least 10 different dishes. The dishes were served almost immediately, and every one of them was outstanding. I would definitely go back to the Barcelona Wine Bar. One of the friends with me, who is a foodie and bartender who frequently dines out, said it was the best restaurant experience he has had in a long time. Great job, everybody at the Barcelona Wine Bar. I will definitely return.

La Voile is an authentic French brasserie, opened in Cannes in 1947. After a few years under a new ownership, it relocated to Boston in 2007.
We went to the Brookline location for a special birthday celebration and enjoyed our experience very much. The ambiance is very nice and the service was outstanding. We decided on the 3 course dinner and was not disappointed. Some of us ordered the French onion soup and others ordered the salad to start. Both were delicious. The next course we ordered the duck and the salmon. Both were outstanding. I had never tried duck before so thought this would be the place to do so. I am so glad I did as I now know delicious it is. The last course was dessert and we ordered the assortment which consisted of a small chocolate mousse, crème Brule, and a small cake. Great way to top off a great meal. The server was great, very accommodating and attentive. I look forward to returning for another outstanding meal.

We went and it was very busy. The guy at the cash register was so helpful and service orientated, a really good experience from the getgo. We went upstairs and ate/drank our coffees. The coffee and food was great! Would recommend this place, without hesitation.

We were looking forward to trying this restaurant based on their many enthusiastic reviews regarding ambiance and food. Our experience was mostly disappointing. The Saturday we had lunch there was quiet and pleasantly well attended. We were greeted cheerfully and seated at a table next to the window. Due to a beam that extends into the interior, the table was a bit awkward to sit at, though we worked around that by moving the table quite close to the wall banquette. We were given water and menus promptly. We ordered our lunch choices and were brought a basket of warm bread and very soft butter.I ordered a green salad with vinaigrette, having overlooked that my sandwich would have that as a side along with French fries. Not a big problem - if I had enjoyed the salad. Alas the vinaigrette was oddly thick and bland and completely coated the large serving of baby romaine. The salad was garnished with flavorless tomato slices. We waited quite a while for our main course. My sandwich of pâté with cornichons was bland, with an oddly spongey texture (maybe defrosted?) It was not pâté-like; neither creamy nor rough. The identical salad was on the side, which I left untouched. French fries were good. My husband enjoyed his calves liver, the accompanying mashed potatoes were nothing special. Half a carafe of decent rose was delivered cool, not chilled.

This is not a restaurant, it's a gastronomical destination, prepare your palate for a feast, your emotions for a party, your mind to discover new and wonderful things that you never imagined. Travel by Uber, there is no place to park, enjoy creative libations and then call Uber again.
