SUCH a great find! We came here thanks to a Google search. My goodness, EVERYTHING here is made from scratch and it shows! Staff is great, the owner Sherry is wonderful. Confident and proud of this restaurant, which has been in her family for decades.Fantastic place. Stop here if you're in the area. If you're not nearby, GET nearby and go here. You're welcome.Thank you Mike for the 5 star rating and your really thoughtful review! Being in business for 71 years making all homemade meals with fresh locally sourced ingredients and an owner who's passionate kind and generous makes Lindsey's the restaurant it is. Having customers like you tells us we are doing it right ~ still! Thank you Mike!

Stopped for a quick lunch/snack - got Italian classic sandwich and chicken rise soup - both absolutely delicious, generous portions, fresh ingredients, tasty bread (good variety of bread), fresh and tasty vegetables in the sandwich (no sad salad or dry old tomato), delicious Italian salami. Friendly staff. Will definitely come back if in the neighborhood. Highly recommend for a quick and easy snack or lunch.

Tastebuds is a local restaurant that has a nice menu with multiple fish options. We started with the steamed clams which cooked perfectly but were seasoned with a little to much pepper flake. I had The bouillabaisse and my wife had the halibut. We both enjoyed our meals but again, mine was over seasoned with red pepper flakes. The broth was good but hard to overcome the pepper. The only real knock was the service. Josh disappeared for a short time and I caught him texting while we waited for him to bring our check. After leaving the check he returned 20 minutes later and apologized for not coming back earlier. We will definitely go back, but ask for a different server and a little less pepper.

We recently stopped by On the Go to grab a couple of sandwiches for lunch. Simply put, the sandwiches were excellent!! On the Go has a varied menu but I'm not sure my wife and I will ever get past the extensive sandwich selection! The shop is small but the staff is friendly and efficient. It's a bit tucked away off route 6 in Mattapoisett, but we strongly recommend On the Go to anyone who wants a quick, delicious lunch!

First was with the patrons now with the birds. What's up with no bird feeders? Are you that cheap you can't by some suet and feed for the birds. People love having lunch and watching the birds outside. I ADVISE YOU TO THINK ABOUT THIS.
