Belchertown (previously known as Cold Spring and Belcher's Town) is a town in Hampshire County, Massachusetts, United States. It is part of the Springfield, Massachusetts Metropolitan Statistical Area. The population was 14,649 at the 2010 census. The town includes the census-designated place of Belchertown. Belchertown was formerly the home of the Belchertown State School. The land on which the school sat is, as of 2016, being redeveloped for mixed uses including residential, commercial and recreational. This includes the 385-acre Lampson Brook Farm, used for community and sustainable agriculture, outdoor recreation, and wildlife preservation.

This place has been on my "ought to visit" list for years. Yesterday it finally happened and we were most pleased. Delightful décor, interesting traditional menu with Irish inspiration, delicious lunch and the most kid friendly restaurant I have ever encountered. Don't let the "Pub" portion of the name fool you - I have no doubt but what it has a full measure of pub atmosphere in the evening but this place gets 5 stars as a restaurant as well. We're anticipating many more trips.

The small loaf of crusty bread served before the meal is so-o-o good. The tuscano soup was disappointing to me, though my companion thought it was good. When Iâve had it before itâs a cream broth and this was just brothy. But the entrees made up for this. I had chicken francais and it was delicious. The chicken was cooked just right and the sauce coating the penne was quite good. It tasted just as good the next day when reheated. My companion had veal parmesan and he said it rivaled that which he gets at his favorite Italian restaurant. I tasted it and I have to agree. There is a rather extensive menu and for lunch you can get lunch size portions of the entrees until 3:30 or sandwiches or burgers. A coupon brought us there but we wonât need one to go back again. Chelsea was a great waitress and very attentive.

Had lunch here last week with my uncle that lives in the area. The setting is beautiful, the service and food were great (I enjoyed a generous helping of Fried Oysters) but the best surprise was the affordability. Expectations were higher due to location and ambiance. Generous serving of oysters was $10 and an imported beer was $4.50, nicely done Bistro 21 - we will be back.

A very basic decor can't detract from the family friendly ambiance your feel at the Europa. It doesn't have the most extensive menu (with a particularly skimpy burger selection) & some of the entrees have a Portuguese flair, but everyone should be able to find something they like. The service was not particularly swift but very attentive & friendly. My Bourbon burger was fine & dinner for 2 was $26--not bad. There were lots of families on this Saturday night & I did get the feeling you could always feel safe bringing the children to this casual mom & pop establishment. There's no reason why I wouldn't go back.
