Made to order burgers, fries and onion rings. Good and inexpensive option while visiting the Big E. Itâs just outside the fairgrounds. Beef patties are thin, so go got the double meat for $4.95. Fries and Onion rings are nice and crispy. Solid but not quite as good as In N Out burger.

Breakfast and Lunch Only
Our annual blood tests are done. Three or more days of abnormally good culinary behavior are behind us including the annoying 12+ hour fast. It is only fitting that we rewarded ourselves with a less than politically correct breakfast. There is usually a wait before getting seats at Georges. But as soon as a table opens up a piping cup of good coffee is for the asking. Waffles, pancakes, real maple syrup, sausage patties properly seasoned, whipped butter, what's not to like. You can't go wrong with a generous slice of ham from the ham specialists here. Omelets, biscuits and sausage gravy, all those good things are available we loved before we could even spell cholesterol. You don't have to be over 70 to come here, but if you are, it won't be held against you. Most, but not all of the customers aren't coming or going from an office or a job site. The waitresses are all out of central casting. Most talk rather loud, perhaps for the benefit of some of their wrinklier clients. Nearly every inch of the walls are covered with signs from the past. Prices are low, quality is good, long may they last.

This is a fabulous old time diner! Stopped in for a breakfast on a Sunday morning with my Dad. Since it is a old fashioned diner it has limited tables along the front of the diner and stools at the counter. When we visited all the tables were occupied so we sat at the counter.I ordered eggs (scrambled), kielbasa, home fries and toast. The home fries appear to be hand cut since the pieces are different sizes and have the skin on them. The piece of kielbasa were cut into slices length wise and grilled on the flat top which gave it some fantastic char and textured. My Dad ordered fried eggs with corn beef hash and decided to get home fries too. We both really enjoyed our breakfasts and the coffee was fantastic! The wait staff was fantastic, friendly and attentive. They filled the coffee when ever we were low or empty and took away plates as we emptied them and interactive with everyone. They knew all the regulars by name and made first time visitors like us comfortable. We will definately be back when I am in the area.
