I had been here for tea and meetings in the past but it wasn't until a month or so ago that I went for lunch. It was so good that I was back again two weeks later. Both times I had the shrimp torta: grilled shrimp, avocado, tomato, and lettuce on a wonderful soft bun with a spicy mayo, so good! The torta came with a side of sweet potato fries which were delicious. The decor in El Taller is fun and colorful. It's a great place to meet with friends or colleagues or spend some quiet time. I will definitely be back again soon. They do have a beer and wine license and I understand they sometimes have entertainment at night, including poetry and music.

If you are gluten free, you usually have to have eggs for breakfast when eating out. Well, Green Apple has gluten free French toast and pancakes...even a few different options of each! Everything, gluten free, and regular (according to my hubby) is delicious! They have a lot of different options than the standard fare, which is one thing I always look for...the owner did a really nice job with the menu, and they usually have a couple specials of the day. Everything is fresh and delicious.The atmosphere is cute and welcoming. Service is super friendly and efficient. Definitely seek out the Green Apple...kind of hidden in a neighborhood, so glad that my hubby works nearby and we stumbled upon it!

My daughter and grand daughter ordered the tomato soup in a bread bowl. I have to say it was very good. My little grand daughter opted for the fruit cup for a side. The watermelon looked like they tried to cut every piece that they could out of that melon.......a lot of white on a lot of the pieces. My turkey sandwich had hardly any turkey, which was cut very, very thin. It has gone down hill. It is not a place that I would return to anytime soon.
