I have visited Thrive on several occasions. It is a small, old fashioned diner that the new owner has transformed into a small, old fashioned diner with delicious vegan food - or quite frankly - really good food. I would recommend this place to vegans and people with special dietary needs and people who just want to have something delicious for lunch or dinner. My favorites so far are the mediterranean appetizer and the deserts. I have had four different deserts and they are all incredibly yummy. It is a happy place that I recommend to couples, singles and families. They do take-out and it is very easy and quick. The owner/chef is a super-woman who does it all. She is an inspiring and kind soul who wants to feed people food that is delicious and good for you. Thank you, Shari!!

My husband, son and I went to Lenox for the Star Wars film night at Tanglewood. We stopped here for lunch as it was near the Yankee Inn, where we were staying. We enjoyed the food so much, we returned for breakfast the next day. They accommodated my son who needs gluten free and dairy free foods. Good food and good service!

I work very nearby and LOVE their soup - something new every day. Some very recent examples that I've tried included : 1. a spicy Buffalo Chicken Soup2. their interpretation of a classic Chicken Noodle 3. Sweet Potato (I think it had cilantro - very interesting and tasty! I ordered it the next day, too) 4. Tomato Basil I have also seen lobster bisque on the menu and tortellini soup. I enjoy their salads very much, having gone on a Chicken Cobb Salad binge for several weeks. Their presentation is magnificent, too. Everything always looks pretty, and after being made so quickly. Because I'm popping in for lunch during the workweek, I appreciate how quick they are. They are very friendly, and will quickly learn your name if you've been there more than a couple of times. You will build a relationship with them if you go more than a couple of times. It's more than a first-name basis. While they are very friendly, service is brisk. Other offerings include local favorites such as SoCo ice cream, from a local ice cream maker and a locally made frozen yogurt. They have baked goods, muffins, and a variety of cold drinks ranging from sodas to juices and waters to kombucha. They have great coffee that is always consistent and tastes fresh (I take mine black,so I appreciate this enormously!). Their breakfast sandwiches are excellent, too. The place has lots of windows, so it's bright and cheery. There are lovely images painted on to the walls, and they have a small couch/comfy seating area as well as tall tables and stools. I'm very happy they're nearby. Great people, great food, reasonable prices. There is paid parking out front (first 30 minutes are free) and there is also free parking across the street or in the garage in back.
