We visit every time we're in town - at least once or twice a month - and it's always fantastic! Food is fresh and largely local, a large eclectic selection of beers to choose from and quality service which seals the deal. We've even had three kiddos in tow and they too enjoyed the place! Score the front hightop by the window and drink, eat, watch, repeat! It's an absolute MUST when in town!

The hostess was terribly nervous, rude, or worse. She would not seat us when most of the room was empty with set tables. We arrived about seven minutes before our reservation- but were turned out of the dining room. When I went back in, she asked me if I had a reservation ( she acted like she never saw me before in her life) I gave her my name again for the second time. She sent us out again and when I asked what the problem was I drew her attention to all of the empty tables. She told me " All of these tables are reserved" But we had also had a reservation- since October. I walked out of the dining room again to wait our six more minutes to be seated and me and my family watched as she seated three other parties ahead of us who arrived after we did. This felt disrespectful. When we finally were seated we walked a long way to our food, out a hallway, down stairs, and to the end of a line which was hard to decipher. The line moved slowly S L O W L Y. Much of the food ran out as the people went by. By the time I got to the green beans they were gone- there was no butter for the hard hard rolls- and believe it or not there was NO cranberry sauce at all for anyone. Several tables requested some. but finally we were told they just ran out of it. The food they did have was good but they did not have ANY cranberry sauce in the whole place and on Thanksgiving this is really a big mistake and pretty bad when you pay $35.00 dollars per person. The waitress was wonderful and did go everyplace looking for cranberry sauce but to no avail. I suggest the hostess and staff explain their unique seating system to guests as our family left this dinner discussing all of the reasons why we kept getting turned away while others were let in ahead of us- into an almost EMPTY dining room. Simple kindness and courtesy would have helped in this situation but I have no idea what happened. We were the only nonwhite guests at the time and so it felt somewhat awkward as we kept watching white parties get seated ahead of us again and again while we were made to wait. I have to admit this did impact the joy of our day. I have reservations for Christmas Eve but I think I will cancel them. I will never go back here for a holiday dinner like Thanksgiving. I am personally offended by the treatment and paid 120 dollars for three. So much for the great Thanksgiving reputation. Never Again

Visited on a Saturday night as we were exploring the NoHo nighttime scene. Great Irish bar with lovely interior design with historic brick and wooden features. Nice selection of Whiskey, Bourbon and beers. Bartender made a nice cocktail for me with items I requested. We enjoyed a bowl of yummy onion soup. Service was friendly and attentive. We'd certainly return on our next visit.

Packard's is a must visit in Northampton. It is definitely more pub than elegant; everywhere you look, there is something interesting - different - unique to see. The staff is friendly and very efficient. The menu offers a good selection of basic American food that is delicious and served in very generous portions. Pool tables and tv make it a fun place to stop in for drinks, appetizers, or to spend an afternoon or evening. Go once for the experience and you will want to return for the food.

Met up with some old friends in Northampton and decided to try toasted for the first time. The wings were so good....hand breaded not the frozen crap. The bartender Tara was AWESOME!! The bar was full but she was attentive to everyone there, fast friendly and knowledgeable. Definitely one of the best bartenders we have ever dealt with. Will be back again for sure.

The Northampton Brewery brews fine ales and lagers, served with outstanding food by the friendliest staff around. We're conveniently located in downtown Northampton, Massachusetts on Brewster Court (really) smack dab in the middle of all the public parkin
Was hungry, so went for full burger with. As one who is rather picky about burgers, this was outstanding. Exactly as promised...and the beer, "BEER", was as noted on menu. Bitter, UK style (my fav.)Had never been to this place in our 3 2/3rds years, yes I don't like to eat out much--but this was worth it.
