Christina's has really good take-out food - roast beef sandwiches, pizza, calzone and broccoli, ziti, chicken are the best! Family run, friendly. We live in the neighborhood so are frequent consumers.

I came here for a family dinner with a very large party. The waitress went out of her way to try to accommodate us. Bertini's reminds me of the kind of place you remember going with your parents as a child which is comforting. The salad was mostly iceburg lettuce but they kept the bread coming nonstop while we were there (a thing of the past) in this type of restaurant. We had cheese sticks and onion rings for appetizers and both were above average. The portions were generous. I didn't hear anyone at the table rave about what they ordered, but I didn't hear anyone complain a lot either. I think one of the reasons this restaurant got picked for this event was that the cocktails were well priced and generously poured!

We have enjoyed Flatbread restaurants in the past however the Salem restaurant is going to bring this company down. I was there on Saturday with my husband and 4 grandchildern (no we are not old). The service was the worst I have had in my entire life. The hostess didn't want to be there, she was more concerned with her phone. She put us in the last table next to the bar. The restuarant was not full. The people at the bar were out of their minds, kept coming over to talk to the kids. The bartender should have stopped serviing them. We sit and husband had to get the kids the crayons for the kids. The hostess pointed where they were. We then didn't realize the menu was so limited, unlike others we have gone. We ordered one pizza because there wasn't anything else to order. It came to the table uncut. It had no taste and underooked. The waitress brought 4 dishes for 5 of us, we asked for napkins and silverware never brought them I had to get up and get them. What was that about. For the first time, we left no tip. Here is our tip for you. Improve your staff and have consistent menu. Sorry to see a good reputation take a hit for staffing and management but it is what it is.

Thereâs only one small table. Itâs crowded...but itâs a damn fine and fun place. The owner makes you feel like your friends over for lunch/dinner. The specials they dream up (ie a âBig Mac pizzaâ) are innovative and the excitement with which they describe them to guests is palpable. The food ranged from OK to very good but the overall experience was 5 stars for this kind of place ...

a gourmet culinary tour of the Italian/American experience
Iâm always hesitant to eat Italian out. I was immediately impressed with the service, as we like to eat early, intermittent fasters, and they had about 20 minutes till dinner could be ordered. No worries, a bottle of good wine and conversation works. Everything is handmade, cooked to order, and of course I asked for something on the menu, with changes. No problem, and it was delicious. The service was wonderful, very clean and the food was excellent.

We were looking for lunch and happened upon this place. What a good choice! The pizza came Quickly and was tasty. We ordered a 2 liter of soda to go with it. The place is decorated with fireman gear. It's right across the street from the fire station. (Which has a memorial to 9-11 and a piece of the Twin Towers.)

After walking around the wharf we were looking for a lunch place that wasnât seafood, stumbled upon the little place. Really wasnât sure of what to expect as the menu is small but we were not disappointed, we split a strawberry fields salad and a pizza, WOW, both tasty and just enough to keep you running around for another 4 hours! A little gem stop by

We had dinner here and for an Italian Restaurant, we were slightly disappointed.Table was incredibly wobbly; they had no ice cream; lemon sorbet was straight out the freezer and inedible for the first 10 mins. Cover charge of $5 above the normal cost for having a shared meal. Food was fine and the service a bit hit or miss. Very small tight restaurant. And quite dark inside.

I stopped in here because of the location & because the bar itself was visibly appealing. I did not eat here, but several folks around me at the bar were eating, & seemed very happy with their food choices. I was served a cold beer by a friendly bartender, & was clearly surrounded by repeat customers. This is a place worthy of a return visit.
