I eat here fairly frequently and usually it is excellent. I only had a bowl of tomato florentine today, which is not uncommon, and it is always excellent. Today, however, it was watery and lacking taste. Very disappointing. I had to add a LOT of salt and pepper to make it palatable. If this is what they are going to pass off as their soup of the day, don't waster your money!!

When it comes to pizza, nobody has the passion and knowledge like chef and owner, Chris Patrick. After working more than a decade making pizzas for the North Ends' own, Pizzeria Regina, Chris traveled the world in search of his own recipes, including a fi
Growing up in New Haven, CT, Frank Pepe's Coal Fired Thin Crust Pizza was my Go to Pizza Joint. Unfortunately, when I'm not in New Haven, I have to search out in new locations for Very Good Pizza. Yes, I do go to Trip Advisor for recommendations. I was visiting my daughter and family in Massachusetts this past weekend. Friday nights are Pizza Nights, so I had to find a really good pizza. All roads in the Scituate area lead to CP's Pizza. A very small pizza joint. Mostly take-out. Not many tables to eat at inside. There take-out business at 8:00 pm was crazy busy. We ordered two 14" wood fired pizza. Thin crust hand-tossed made out of a fantastic flour double 0 flour from Italy when I asked. The homemade tomato sauce is from San Marzano tomatoes from the Naples, Italy area. The pizza are drizzled with Olive Oil and sprinkled with imported parmesan cheese and oregano. The pizza bakes quickly in the wood-fired oven. The results was outstanding. This chef has the following of people who love pizza.

We dine with friends this past weekend and the event started off poorly. We arrived 10 min before our reservation and was seated at a table that was right in the traffic flow of the waitstaff. We had to asked to be moved even with other open tables around. The meals were good and the staff was attentive, however, the prices very very high. I had the beef medallions which were rather tough and chewy. The pasta dishes, while good where expensive. Not in any rush to return anytime soon.

As an elder I look forward to times we are able to go out for dinner with good friends. The money seemed pricey for the amount of food but the presentations looked lovely. I ordered a cup of soup to start. When the soup came there appeared to be hardly any in the bowl, maybe a few tablespoons. I mentioned this to our server who brought it back to the kitchen. A moment later a woman returned to the table with two bowls who scolded me telling me the serving size I was served was appropriate and âdid I want it or notâ. I was horrified at the way this women, who come to find out was one of the owners had spoken to me, as was the rest of the party I was with. We then proceeded to overhear her as she walked by our table several times that we were a â very difficult tableâ. She also stated to me as I was talking with the hostessâYou are a difficult customer and I donât want people like you in my restaurant âI let her know I was going to write an online review of my experience when she stated She didnât care because everyone at this places loves her.I would have been more than happy with a larger serving of soup. Iâm horrified at how she escalated this, the scene that was made, and shared in the embarrassment her employees also obviously endured. I will be taking my business elsewhere.

We often order pizzas to take out from Blue Moon Pizzeria. The staff is friendly and helpful. All the pizzas are delicious and with thin crusts. Our favorite is the large size caramelized onion with gorgonzola cheese. It's a busy place on the weekend, so it may be a half hour wait before your pizza is ready for pick up. Well worth the wait for great pizzas!

Went for dinner last night. Was pleasantly surprised. Being Italian and cooking Italian regularly, I am a critic of other Italian cooks, especially their pasta sauce. It was excellent there. I had chicken piccata and was thrilled to finally find a place who prepared it exactly how I like it, light lemon butter sauce with a modest amount of capers. Was served over linguini done al dente. We had tiramisu for dessert, also very good ( but not as good as mine!) The place was small, only 30 seats, but heard they do great take out business. Will return for sure. They also serve lunch and pizza and have daily specials,

This is like the Italian Restaurants of my 1960s childhood. Big portions, classic dishes -- veal parmesan, eggplant, cacciatore, red sauce, clam sauce, linguine and fettuccini.Service was good. Good value -- veal parmesan $18 and enough food to feed two or more.Their tomato sauce is very good. It's an old style rich and thick sauce. There's a bar with TV. Free parking in a lot. Easy to get to off of RT 3.I plan to go back.

First time i ever visited TSP they were in a different location that was some 18 years ago, i was told they had the best lobster ravioli anywhere and so i went and i was duly impressed, fast forward 18 years to a new location and i'm still duly impressed!Place was packed on a Saturday night, we had reservations but still had to wait at the relatively small bar that was also very full. The lady checking us in for our reservation was not very warm and friendly, i would have rated TSP 5 star excellent if not for her, but after we got passed her all was well...When we did get seated by a very nice hostess the dining room didn't seem to be that full which leads me to believe that they won't over face the kitchen, great idea and i like it already. The loaf of Italian bread they brought out was addictive, beautiful crust, soft doughy center, almost ate the loaf myself. For apps we got meatballs, the antipasto della cassa and the peperoni ripieni, impossible to pick a winner, i highly recommend all!For mains i went back to the lobster ravioli which i think has changed a little, for some reason i remember it being in a cream sauce however now its in a delicious tomato/pink sauce with shrimp and zucchini, still outstanding.Friends ordered the chicken saltimbocca and the Guazetto Di Crostacei Al Tegame (mixed seafood and shellfish) both substantial and both excellent, one person had the pork tenderloin dish and wasn't as happy as the rest of us, but that could be a personal preference.Dessert's were fantastic, profiteroles and a super indulgent peanut and chocolate cake. The food was bursting with freshness and so tasteful, service was excellent, our server Christine was delightful, presentation was perfect and portion sizes were just right.Happy to say all is well at TSP and i won't be waiting another 18 years before i return!
