On a recent Monday night, after visiting Bright Nights in Springfield, 5 girlfriends were looking for a place to eat. One remembered going to a restaurant in East Longmeadow a few years back. After looking up restaurant names on TripAdvisor, Mario's popped up and she remembered that was the place. We called to see if they had room for us and they did.The location is a bit unusual - in with a group of small stores, with the bar area in the middle of the hallspace...we opted to sit in the restaurant area.Haley(sp) was our waitress and took care of us expertly!I enjoyed the salad with a delicious balsamic Gorgonzola dressing - loved the chick peas. Delicious bread with oil/spices and/or butter was served - we asked and got seconds! My meal was the eggplant Parmesan - cooked expertly - enough to take home for lunch the next day. And only $13.95.Many of the girls opted for dessert and I tasted the chocolate Crème Brûlée and the homemade Cream Puff.A great place to go - and will definitely go back!

Heard this place was good so tried it with friends. Hubby and I decided to sample several things and share everything. Italian wedding soup... nice bowl.... excellent. Calamari... generous serving.... excellent. Potato skins... average serving of 6.... very good. Lasagna... decent portion but rather bland, seemed to be lacking something. Friends had veal selections and said everything was delicious. Service was prompt and very friendly. Place is not very big, two main rooms, one small one in front with a few tables, one in back with tables and booths. Menu was pretty extensive for such a small place. The pizza choices were amazing in both kinds and sizes. The only real negative was a woman at a near table with a LOUD and cackling voice and laugh that just goes right through you. There were times I could not even hear my friend at the same table. Seemed like a group of locals who would also shout across the room to other locals. When did it become ok to be excessively loud in a restaurant?? I realize this is not the fault of the facility, but it made our night out much less enjoyable. Yikes, that cackle!!! Glad to have tried this place and might try their pizza next time.

Villa Napoletana represents a combination of exquisite food, superb service and excellent ambiance, to create an unforgettable dining experience.
My wife and I are from out of town, and after we dropped our daughter and friends off at Six Flags we proceeded to explore the Agawam, Longmeadow, Springfield area. We got hungry and were hankering for Italian on a Sunday night. Through the miracle combo of TripAdvisor and a navigation system, we ended up at this gem. Ordering an app and two entrees off of the Sunday night âOld Schoolâ menu gets you a free bottle of Chianti or Pinot Grigio. Chicken Parm, Gnocchi Annabella, Arancini, Caesar Salad, and wonderful homemade bread with dipping oil all truly hit the spot. So did the Chianti!! Great service from Christine, nice ambiance, enjoyable music from a duo in the bar area, and reasonable prices rounded out our great experience at this restaurant. Hi there! Thank you so much for leaving us a review. We're happy to hear you found us. We hope your daughter had as good of a time at Six Flags as you and your wife did, here! We hope to see you again, whenever you're in town.

Review is ONLY for how they present Gift Baskets. Buyer beware: Year after year, we have received Frigo gift baskets at Christmas from relatives. As years have gone by, the quality of the food choices in the bags are nothing special, majority of products packed can be found at any grocery or discount store like Ocean State Job Lot or Christmas Tree shops. There was a time when receiving the Frigo baskets was really exciting as there was a nice variety of unusual & interesting products to sample. This year, the Blue Cheese salad dressing was expired, had an expiration date of October 2018, it was quickly thrown out; the meat had NO expiration date, which scared me, so that was thrown out; the sharp provolone BelGioioso Cheese states it has to be refrigerated but of course it wasn't as its in a gift basket. Even though the cheese was cryo-vac'd it was not a good flavor to it, the color wasn't quite right & we buy that brand all the time. The date was good but it had a funky taste, thrown out.So 3 products thrown out. I am at an impasse at what to do, tell the relative or just accept the gift and let it go. I can imagine these baskets cost a fortune; frankly after this last basket, Frigo is the last place I would go to purchase a gift basket for someone. I don't know which store makes the baskets, no idea but I will stay away from either, or, nor would I recommend. My only regret is I did not take pictures of the expired blue cheese dressing & the non dated meat & strangely colored cheese so I could post them with the review to prove authenticity. Makes me wonder how many people get them for gifts and do not let the gift giver know.
The dinner portions from Primo's are enormous. The food is always tasty and the pizza is excellent. The salads are lackluster (skip the salad and make your own) but their red sauce is really good and all the dinners that we have tried (chicken parm, eggplant) are very good. We have used their meals for sports team dinners and have always had plenty of food and good reviews from the kids. It's only 2Go, so no seating....therefore, no atmosphere.

Welcome to Fazio's Ristorante & Pizzeria. The Fazio family welcomes you to their authentic Southern Italian style cooking and old-world style pizzas. While distinct in flavor, each of our dishes shares a common beginning. The time-honored practice of usin
I met up with friends at Fazio's last evening, and once again, was amazed by the quality and quantity of their servings. I ordered chicken picata, on angle hair pasta , divine. Others ordered lasagna and eggplant parm, we shared a huge basket of onion rings and all agreed that they were the best ever. The waitress was professional, checked in on us once in awhile but wasn't hovering..............her timing was perfect from beginning to end. Each of us walked out with a box filled with what we couldn't consume................planning to do that this evening.Fazio's is a really nice "mom and pop" cozy restaurant, whether you order pizza or the full "monty".

I get food at Frigo's at least once a week. I do a pick up for everyone at work and usually get dinner for home while I'm there. Better than home cooking, at a great price for the quality of the food. Staff is energetic and happy to serve you. Fresh made meals in the glass case daily or order a sandwich.

Hidden behind Luigi's great pizza and sub take-out service counter, is its outstanding small Italian restaurant. In our view, it is the best Italian food in the Longmeadow/ East Longmeadow area. It has about a dozen tables and when we were there on a Sunday evening, quiet enough for a conversation. We were served by the owner Jenn and of course, her suggestions and attention are outstanding. We felt as if we were being served in her own home.Food. - We ordered the specials of the day listed on the blackboard near the entrance. For an appetizer we shared an order of mushrooms stuffed with crab in a garlic sauce. Excellent..For our main course, one of us ordered the shrimp risotto. Excellent. One of us ordered the Salmon ala Vodka. Excellent. I ordered the Chicken Luigi's. Also excellent. It had small pieces of chicken breast cooked in a sauce with mushrooms, sun-dried tomatoes, cherry tomatoes, and basil. It was really good. While I was eating it, the chef, Julio, came to the table with a dish of a half of dozen sautéed artichokes garnished with parsley. He exclaimed to me that this was the first time that he was preparing the dish. and he forgot to put in the artichokes! He had just invented the dish and he joked that it should be called Julio's after him instead of Luigi's! He added the artichokes into the dish and it was even better. This has never happened to me in all the years I have been eating out. The portions were large enough that we took home enough for either one or two meals. For dessert we had Fried Dough Balls in Sugar. Yummy. Again there were enough to take home for another meal but we figured that they would not be good reheated. Noise levels. -Both of us are hearing impaired and find it difficult to have a conversation in most restaurants. When we asked, Jenn turned down the volume of the background music, We have an app on our phone called Soundprint which records the decibels levels in the restaurant and lets you know if it is safe for your hearing. The meter recorded 70 - safe for hearing and perfect for a conversation. We have eaten here before and had the Italian specialties of Eggplant Rollatini, Chicken Francese, Chicken Picatta, and Veal Parmigiano. Of course, we will be returning.

The test of any good restaurant is a busy Friday night. We arrived early, just ahead of the crowd. Service was friendly and not rushed despite the packed house. We lingered for a bit, catching up with family over our drinks. We ordered a large pizza, with 3 toppings. It was delicious. The crust and the sauce were outstanding, good testimony to a consistent, well run establishment.Red Rose pizza is like none other!

Grapevine is a fixture of many years in Longmeadow, offering generous and tasty portions of Italian and Greek specialties. We especially like the gyros sandwiches, pasta entrees, pizza, and fried chicken, an item on very few menus. They do an excellent take out business, which happens to be our most frequent way to go.
