Just off Main Street in Melrose close to Malden. Nice ambiance with the chefs right there. They have tables, and a bar seating set up. Good service extensive menu with a lot of choices - all delicious. Nice touch is the tempura flakes in many of the maki's. A bit on the expensive side but who wants cheap sushi hang over. Free parking outside of the restaurant.

If you are in the north burbs of Boston , do yourself a favour and come to Gene's. It is not a traditional Chinese restaurant. The homemade flatbread noodle ( XI'an style ) are to die for !The dumpling soup is legendary and the rest of the short menu is great. Ok decor. But service with a smile ! JUST GO !

An old quote goes, âyou canât eat atmosphere.â This place doesnât pretend to make you pay for atmosphere. Itâs basic, a bit cramped, and you might have to wait for seating. But I enjoyed my food overall, and the maki rolls were filling.

We seem to only come here for lunch and each time we have enjoyed it. The food is delicious if you love Korean, Japanese and Thai food.PROS:.Generous portions and great asian flavors. All of their food from sushi, appetizers and cooked food are yummy.CONS:. Place is small and better suited for small groups up to 4. For larger groups, it would be better to come at non-peak times. Not sure if they take reservations.

This small but conveniently located place serves authentic Chinese food. There are a few, very pleasant tables for dining in, but we have always ordered takeout. They also provide prompt delivery service; we live locally. Some of my favorite offerings are the Mongolian beef and the several wonderful shrimp entrees. The portions are generous, nicely seasoned, and reasonably priced. The staff are unfailingly polite and welcoming. There is ample on street parking. Itâs the best Chinese restaurant in the area, better than more expensive, less authentic alternatives.

I would return. I was skeptical the first time I tried this place because generally when a restaurant has sushi and General Gau's chicken, it's not a good sign. However, I have to say that this place does both sushi and familiar Chinese favorites pretty well. Nice clean decor, service is adequate. Good if you have a group to please or if you want a little of both.

We came here with our son, wife and grandchildren for the all you can eat option. We got carried away and ordered too much sushi but we enjoyed it all and the kids enjoyed their special selections. Service was great. We were there during the week and it was not busy. We will be back for more.

My first visit to Mitho was for lunch. There is an "inside" bar and dining room as well as a heated patio covered with heavy plastic which were a few steps down which we chose. Most patio tables were taken at noon on a Friday. I had made reservations and we were promptly seated. Waitstaff delivered water and menus quickly. There is a luncheon menu mainly of Mo Mos (steamed dumplings filled with vegetables or other meats)' takari curry with choice of vegetables or meats, soups, etc. We shared an order of steamed vegetable MoMos (total of 12) with tasty sauce. I ordered a healthful soup which said it would improve your cold and clear your sinus. It did. You are asked to indicate how spicy you want your food on scale of 1-10. I ordered 2.5 and the spice was just right. My partner ordered shrimp takari with snow peas, onions, zucchini in tomato curry sauce with basmati rice and avocado/cilantro sauce. This serving was enough that she took home half for dinner. The service continued to be attentive throughout our meal. Tables were far enough apart that you can hear your table partners talk and the amount of noise in the room was moderate (no music). A delicious pleasant lunch. We will return and encourage others to come too.

Was brought here by a couple who frequent the place. We were not disappointed. The food and service were both great. There was only one, rather big, issue which was we asked for no mushrooms as one of the party was allergic but one of the dishes came with mushrooms. Luckily we saw them before any issues were encountered.
