With influences from its neighbors: Romania and Ukraine, a little from Turkey and Bulgaria, some from Russia and even the Mediterranean countries, Moldovan cuisine offers a variety of tastes and fl avors. With basic spices and herbs, various crops and mea
We ate at the Moldova Restaurant last night, and had a very enjoyable meal, with interesting appetizers and a surprisingly nice Moldovan wine (Merlot rara neagra). The roasted eggplant and pickled vegetable appetizers were especially tasty, while the cheese dumplings were good, but needed more seasoning. We also shared lamb, pork, and chicken entrees. The lamb kebabs were delicious.

We tried this place on a Friday evening. Atmosphere is very nice. Restaurant was fairly busy and full, but still very pleasant. We had the shrimp and vegetable tempura to start, which was really good! Two large shrimp/prawns and four large pieces of vegetables. We then had one of their special sushi rolls and several varieties of nigiri. The sushi was beautifully presented. However, the sauce on the roll had a strange sweet taste, and the rice was noticeably sweetened too. Same with the nigiri, not the usual flavor of rice, too sweet which did not complement the fish at all. And my teeth were coated later, so I think they must have put a lot of sugar in the sushi rice. So while the fish itself was good and the nigiri pieces were generous, we really can't recommend the sushi at all. Too bad because restaurant and service rate a 4-5 but the (expensive) sushi meal was disappointing.

Asian Restaurant
Went with family who live in the area. My first visit. They usually order sushi but tonight we sampled a variety of Korean dishes. The scallion pancake is huge for an appetizer. Miso soup very good. Bibimbop was perhaps to sizzling; the rice got burnt. Dishes I couldn't name were tasty. Chef and several of the waitstaff took time to explain the dishes and were clearly quite happy at the clean plates. Like anything else on Moody Street parking is a problem.

This is a small cozy restaurant a short walk south of Route 20 (parking is available at Route 20/Main & Prospect). I had Tree Top bags (fried wonton skins stuffed with potatoes, onions, etc.) that were crunchy and tasty. Then I had the tom kha gai soup--good and the wild boar basil. This was a very nice meat with a even nicer sauce. My wife had the shrimp in a blanket and the tom yum soup--really good and spicy. Her main dish was the pork medallions; the individual components were good but the sauce did not bring them together. We shared a nice mango and sticky rice dessert. We didn't pay much attention to our friends' meals; they have been here many times.

Put on a bib and get ready to make a mess! Channeling New Orleans by way of New England, Shaking Crab offers a variety of fresh shellfish drenched in house sauces featuring rich butter, ample garlic, and bold Cajun spices. Throw in spice level customizati
We arrived right at openning time to the restaurant. Host and servers were very friendly and helped us make our dinner choices easily. The fried oysters were great, and both dipping sauces incredibly good and spicy.Crawfish was good, though a bit under seasoned when using New Orleans as reference. Shrimp and veggies plate in Cilantro/lime sauce was a very nice combination. The fried lobster tail was delicious. The location is nice and cozy. Good thing we arrived right at opening time as parking on the street is very scarce.

We had a wonderful experience during a mid-afternoon lunch here. As nearly the only people in the restaurant, we enjoyed a quiet visit while our lunch was being prepared. Our waiter (maybe the owner?) was extremely accommodating and went out of his way to make sure our meals were exactly what we wanted. The food was delicious, plentiful and very reasonably priced.

First time eating at a Taiwanese restaurant and it was such an awesome experience. Ate here on a friday night with friends. The first impression of the place was very good- clean, open, well lit, simple but soothing decor and has both small and big tables. The service was very good. Most of the tables had non-Taiwanese/Chinese diners, which is a good sign. We ordered Scallion pancakes(5star), Crab rangoon(5star), Vegetable dumplings(4star), MuLan fish(5star), String beans(100star) and Bean curd in spicy sauce(4 star). Everything was super delicious, but the string beans stole the show. Highly recommend if you like string beans. Cannot wait to eat here again!!!

Never ate Thai before, but my boss loves this place and I am game for anything. Went with all the waiters recommendations. A fish and chicken appetizer and a beef dish entree. Worth the money, even though my boss picked up the tab, seemed very reasonable.
