The Good Table always is packed with friendly servers and friendly customers. The ambiance is pretty basic and the noise level is exuberant. The prices are modest and the selection of breakfast and lunch options is fairly extensive. I hesitate to be critical of any local business, especially one where the family name is proudly displayed on the menus. It has been a long time since we have been here, and now I remember why. The food is pretty average, at best; at least it was with my wife's Tuna Melt and my Fried Fish Sandwich. The latter fish hasn't been in the ocean for a very long time and could have come from the supermarket frozen fish department. I'm not a fan of American French Fries, so I opted for Cole slaw and cottage cheese. Both were sub par and bland.I know this is a place where people are happy to come for their omelettes, and good sized egg dishes, Benedicts, etc. There are just too many better options around.

Whether you are celebrating the end of the workday with drinks and appetizers at our beautiful 54-seat bar, or celebrating a more intimate occasion in one of our cozy dining rooms, the Westwood has something for you. Start your visit with one of our 24 be
The Westwood is conveniently located about a mile off the Mass Pike, Exit 3, if you are hungry for lunch and passing through. The menu has everything--pasta, sandwiches, soups, salads, burgers, steak tips--and the pub serves over 20 beers, many of them craft. The setting is, as advertised, pub-like, with some nice stained glass windows and Tiffany-style lamps. The food is good. The service is prompt--the servers were tag-teaming the day we dined there. One server took our drink order, another took our food order, somebody else delivered it. This did cause a couple of minor flubs--I asked for mustard, with no mayo or ketchup, for my bison burger. It came with the mayo and ketchup in cups, but no mustard. This was promptly corrected. Also, I ordered the burger medium well, and I got medium. It was still quite edible, but somebody fussier would not have liked it. My companion's pasta dish was good, but she found the sun-dried tomatoes a bit tough to chew. The lemon cream cake dessert was good. I found their flourless chocolate cake quite good, and it was not an overwhelming portion. Price for lunch, with tip, including beverages and dessert, was about $60.The Westwood is definitely worth a return visit.

We sat right at the big windows overlooking the lake. Our server was friendly and attentive and I really enjoyed my fisherman's Benedict at this comfortable, relaxing place. The crab cakes were delicious and the asparagus was just perfectly prepared! I saw some very tempting pastries on the counter as I left - must return to give them a try!

I've ben to this restaurant a few times and I find them to be pretty consistent. The only con was the house salad I ordered with fresh mozzarella. It was like they emptied the entire carton of lettuce on my plate with a drip of balsamic dressing and few pieces of onion and tomato. It was literally a bunch of lettuce only lol. Pizza was nothing to write home about.

My husband and I had dinner at Tuckerâs Restaurant in Southwick, MA. on Friday, December 29th. Our waitress was very polite, attentive, and the service was excellent. The atmosphere was relaxing and comfortable. The bread and New England clam chowder, which came with our meals, was excellent. The portions were generous. I had an Angus Burger, which was very good. It was nice that I was able to get mashed potatoes with it. My husband had Yankee Pot Roast. The vegetables that came with his meal were excellent, especially the butternut squash. However, the Pot Roast was not as he expected it to be, somewhat of a disappointment. Although he was able to eat all of it, it wasnât very tasty or tender but hard/tough, perhaps overcooked. We donât recommend the Yankee Pot Roast based on his experience, but there are other items on the menu that are very good.

Coffee House / Baked Goods / Light Fare
Quaint little cafe with coffee, breakfast sandwiches and muffins. Several of us stopped in after walking the rail to trail paths. The food was very good, and we especially enjoyed the raspberry white chocolate muffin. Weâll probably make this a regular stop on our route.

I requested a seat outside because itâs a beautiful day. I was given a menu. 10 minutes went by during which two other parties were seated outside. A waitress finally appeared And proceeded to take the order of a couple that arrived after I did. After taking their order, she looked right through me and proceeded to take the order of a group that had also arrived after me. I pointed out to her that I had arrived first, At which point she asked me what I wanted, and I said nothing. As I got up to leave I heard this waitress and the larger group laughing. Not so much as an apology for leaving me sitting there for 10 minutes as if I were invisible. I will never eat here again. Extremely rude service.I am sorry that Caitlin did not approach you first when she got out to the Deck. Unfortunately our bartender scheduled for Thursday lunch called out sick forcing Caitlin to set up the bar and the restaurant with help from me. There were a number of customers who had just sat at the bar and tables inside the pub when you walked in as I was leaving to pick up some plant at a local nursery with a landscaper who had arranged to take me to the Nursery and help select plants at their annual customer appreciation day. Of course being short one employee puts a strain on service and we did manage to get another server to come in early to help, but he did not arrive until 30 minutes after you left unhappy. After I sat you, I did seat two other groups on the deck and Caitlin made it out within a couple minutes, not 10. Caitlin intended to get everyone's orders on the deck before returning inside as that is the most time efficient way to work. I am sorry she approached the first table that closest to the door she came out rather than asking who was sat first. She told me that she did apologize three time to you and I believe her. She is a little meek sometimes and you may not have understood her. I don't think anyone on the deck was laughing at you. People do joke a bit to relieve a stressful situation as when someone is upset and leaves abruptly. When I gave you a menu I thought everything was good for you. I wish I had taken your order to get things started for you, but I was distracted by our landscaper and project I needed to complete that afternoon. If there is anyway I can make things right for you, please contact Scott at the pub.
