This spot gets great reviews. Does not live up to the hype. Has lunch there with my daughter. Food came to the table. My toast was warmed bread. Must have waved it past the toaster. My daughters eggs were totally over cooked. Waitress nowhere to be found. Flagged down another waitress who proceeded to argue with my daughter about her eggs and my toast. Reluctantly she finally agreed to take them back. The replacement eggs were perfectly cooked and my daughter enjoyed them. My toast came back burnt. Couldnât be bothered pointing it out. No one bothered to check if the replacement toast was ok. My corned beef hash was nicely seasoned. The home fries were bland. Very over rated. So sorry to learn that we did not live up to your expectations nor ours, on your recent visit. I will discuss your feedback with our staff team to determine where the mistakes happened. If you would like to contact me at [email protected] we would appreciate the opportunity to welcome you back for a better experience. Thank you.

It's a pretty typical irish pub, dark and inviting. But the surprise was the quality of the food. We went here based on prior reviews and were not disappointed. The servers were freindly , and the food was served promptly, hot and tasty. A little bit tight for seating and the place was packed. Would definently recommend, if your in the areaThanks for taking the time to leave such a thoughtful review!

I went with a group of about 10. Food was very good. I had the Wild Boar pasta. It was a Tuesday night and I was surprised at how busy it was. Even with a large group they did a nice job serving us, albeit the food did take a while to come. Good food. I'd recommend but don't go if you are in a hurry.

I used to like this place and always had a good experience and nice dinner, this time we had a party of 10. Unfortunately during our visit around 7 pm someone broke into my purse and stole all my credit cards from my wallet. While we were dining they drove to Cambridge and tried to spend thousands on my cards. At this location tables are so close to each other that in the dark environment and during busy hours it's very easy for thieves to steal from you. I understand this can happen anywhere, but I called restaurant manager and advised them about this situation at their location. They don't have surveillance cameras to protect their customers. I highly advise that if you go there keep your belongings safe. Again I hate to say bad things about this place since food, service and location are excellent. I just don't want this to happen to others. At such a nice environment people feel safe and protected.

We took my partnerâs parents here while in town for a college graduation. We had fish of the day (Scottish salmon) and they had Delmonico steak. All four of us loved our meals, the popovers to start, and the two desserts we shared. A great evening, quiet enough for good conversation, and excellent service.

We recently tried O'Hara's in Newton, MA. Drinks were good, food was average (salmon we had was overcooked and dry), service was good, and prices were reasonable. The atmosphere, friendly patrons, good bar service, and drinks are the things to bring you here. Thanks for the review! I am sorry to hear about the salmon, if there is every an issue with your meal, please always let us know while you are dining with us so we can be sure to make it right for you! Hope to see you in again soon :)

This was our first trip for brunch here. Itâs always been a favorite of ours for dinner. Wonderful place for an upscale brunch, nice atmosphere, not rushed and not noisy. Service was impeccable, thanks to Kyle (hope I remembered that correctly). I had the Mushroom and asparagus omelet, without the asparagus. Light and fluffy eggs folded over mushrooms, onions, cheese. Perfect. It came with crispy potato wedges and a nice salad on the plate (Lettuce, beets, radish etc). I also ordered a side of bacon, which was generous and perfectly cooked. My wife ordered the whole wheat crepe with banana, hazelnuts and cream. It was listed in the small plate section, but unlike some places where a small plate means you need to order 2-4 plates, it was all that was needed. To finish the meal off we had the chocolate mousse, topped with caramel and pistachios. Everything here is well thought out, plated and presented. True fine dining, even for brunch.

Add this restaurant to your portfolio of dining choices. Its menu, while limited, has selections that are quite different from most places. The pastas are excellent, such as the black pepper pappardelle, with strong and interesting flavors unlike conventional versions. The mushroom soup is outstanding, but again not just another soup but adding maple sweetness. The quails are debunked (except for the thighs), which is a nice touch. The shakshuka, made from local peppers, was terrific and something we've not had before -- ad the locally-prepared lamb ("merguez") to it and it is marvelous. Trillium IPA on tap is a great choice, they know how to make a Manhattan, and the wines by the glass -- a gain vey limited in range -- has a few fine choices. Parking is easy on-street or in the nearby lot. The place was humming on a Saturday night, but the service still was friendly, professional, and helpful.
