This plà ce just opened about a week ago. Three of us went for dinner on Mon. at about 5:30 and it was packed. We waited 35 min for a table but we could see empty tables. That's my only complaint about the place. I ordered the traditional lobster roll with fries and slaw. It was very good and the service was very good. We also ordered the nachos, which was very good and a huge portion. My dining companions had various opinions regarding their food. I will definitely go back and perhaps combine it with a movie trip across the street.Thank you for taking the time to share your visit with us. Your comments have given us the opportunity to celebrate our team and we thank you very much. We look forward to serving you again very soon!

At Friendlyâs, weâve been serving up ice cream and delicious fun since 1935. But actions taste better than words. So, get in today to try us for yourself.
Friendly's was convenient to our hotel. We had a late dinner the night of our arrival - I had a turkey BLT that was not very good, undercooked bacon and ice cold turkey. Husband had patty melt and he said the bread tasted old. We also had breakfast one morning and it was good, eggs cooked properly and crispy bacon. An okay stop mainly for its convenience.

We got takeout. Went for the handmade dumpling appetizer, the Triple Pork and Barbecue ramen, and the bread pudding for dessert. The dumplings were nothing to rave about but the ramen was beyond delicious. The flavor of the broth was the best I've ever tasted, and the meat was tender and juicy. It was magical. The bread pudding was good but we got a corner piece without much filling. Bah! A couple weeks later, looking for that same divine ramen experience, we got the same ramen to go. HUGE disappointment. The broth was significantly less flavorful and the meat was overcooked and chewy. The cornbread that came with my BBQ ramen was an odd shaped, dry hunk that looked half-eaten. Gross! What the heck happened?!?! We'll give this place another shot based on our first experience ... hopefully visit #2 was just an off night. Come on Broth - we're rooting for you!!!

Visited on a Saturday morning. Got a booth immediately, coffee was served quickly. The we had to wait and wait and wait. 50 minutes before our meals were served. 2 waitress kept refilling our mugs and apologizing for the long wait. They were very friendly and nice. The Americana items on display were cool; music was what we expected- 50's & 60's rock w/o being too loud. We will return...

I usually like omelets/eggs with veggies only, no meat. Ordered eggs Florentine, which was a mixture of two eggs, onions, green peppers and mushrooms. This was over a soggy English muffin (I usually get mine grilled on the side, so that they are crisp). I wasn't sure of the hollandaise sauce, so I got it topped with cheese. This turned out to be a kind of mushy mess, as everything was slathered in cheese, which I believe was only Velveeta. Home fries were a little stingy. For the price $11.00+, not too thrilled.

Parking is not great and but food is worth it. On the grill with busy cooks making you a great breakfast. Reasonable prices and Local hangout atmosphere. Locals know where to go for good food. And this is it!!! Love the hen and rooster decor!

Absolutely worst dinning experience I have ever had this evening. My family has frequented this establishment in the past. It has always been decent, but but not great. Not even a decent value. But since it was close we always kept trying. Back to tonight... After one and a half hours we had not been served our food. We had seen groups come and go and still not be served or entree. The waitress was good and let us know there had been some issue with our order. But after that long we asked the manager what they issue was with our order. All she could say was that mistakes happen. Completely unacceptable!!! The way she acted, this is a common occurrence. Don't let this happen to you!! Stay away!!!Last night we had a very busy night operating from two dining rooms and a 30 minute wait on top of that. From when you ordered your food it took an hour for it to be delivered. We reviewed the situation on the cameras. Your food order was placed at 5:20 and ready at 6:20. In the last two years I cannot think of one instance an order has taken this long. The waitress was a bit overwhelmed and on top of that there was a bit of confusion in the kitchen. We take full responsibility and for that we sincerely apologize. Unfortunately we are human and mistakes do happen. What we are not sorry for is the fact that a customer would repeatedly swear in front of families and children and also to our staff which eventually brought one of them to tears. Our floor manager tried to make things right and comp your bill but before she could she was received by very profound language. But you guys had walked out on your $94 bill anyways. I can understand you not paying for your food but we do not appreciate walking out on a $50 bar tab. Again we apologize for the long wait and take full responsibility but we do not condone this type of behavior in our restaurant.

Fried Chix is cooked fresh to order. Juicy, tender and seasoned nice. Takes about 20-25 min. You can order ahead So it will be ready when you get there. Very good portions. Mashed potatoes were made from scratch and the gravy is rich and buttery tasting. Loved them. Jo Joâs are not frozen but fresh sliced thick and cooked to perfection. Not greasy skinned and fluffy potato inside. Most everyone there ordered crab rangoon which looked excellent but I was too stuffed to indulge. Next time. Good, very satisfying eats.

Stopped there just after 9 pm with friends recognizing menu may be restricted. After 9 pm it is a much smaller menu, but still same choices for beer and other drinks. Liked the ambience. This place has live music during the weekends. Lots of character here. We each ordered different dishes and the food was OK. Our server was excellent. Friendly, personable, efficient and informative. Very casual and prices reflect the ambience.
