The food is mediocre. The menu is very strange. Extremely overpriced. The owners are rude & condescending. So called “Chef” Bill Stewart is downright creepy & disturbing. There are many good restaurants nearby- go elsewhere!!Dear whoever you are, what a lousy thing to say, you obviously don't know what you're talking about, first we are not overpriced, but priced in line with our market, their is nothing strange about our menu, don't know where you got that from either. We are never rude to our customers or condescending, or we would not be in business for over 10 years now. Read our reviews and see that the majority of our customers know and love what we do.. you must not know me or are getting me confused with another chef. However we will forgive you for you know not what you do. They say if you can't say something nice about someone, don't say anything at all. Your agenda is noted, why you feel this way is your business. We feel badly for you however that you can't find some way to channel this hate. It will not do you any good in the long run. So my suggestion to you seek professional help, maybe you can find something productive to do beside berate people who work so hard to create what you can't. good luck in all your future endeavors and feel free to stop in sometime and educate me on how to run a better restaurant.

The building is a beautiful historic property with very attractive dining areas. It was not our first time here. Our waiter professional with good service. My husband chose the Prix fixe for $40.00–His first course was the Linnell chowder—quite hearty and tasty with a hint of herbs that really made it special. His prime rib was large, tender with a pepper crust and was flavorful. My “scrod” in parchment while quite tasty did not seem to have true Maine crabmeat. It tasted more like Langostino and was orange! Maine crabmeat is not orange! It was also a bit on the salty side. I let it go, but was surprised not to taste and see Maine crabmeat as described in the menu. Our drinks were good but definitely on the expensive side at $13 and $15.!! Clementine cake was good. Overall, a good and mostly satisfying meal but not an “A”.

4940 Brickhouse Restaurant

We were having trouble finding a restaurant that was open midweek in October on a cold and rainy night and stumbled across the Brick House in Eastham. The sign is not a good representation of the atmosphere. Once inside we were pleased with the comfortable surroundings, kind of a family feel but there were no children on this night. The waitress, Juliet, was attentive and friendly. We began with a bottle of Grechetto from Umbria, Italy and it was great ($33). I had a hankering for the Buffalo cauliflower appetizer and it was great ($10). My meal was the broiled salmon special and it was a great cut cooked to perfection. My wife had the scallops with curry and we agreed it was done just right. So our total for the evening was just under $100 (plus tip) and it was a great meal in a very nice place. Recommended

Really friendly staff, delicious food - The place had a really nice vibe. We really liked that it wasn’t a big busy fried seafood kind of place that is so popular here on the Cape. Not that there’s anything wrong with that it’s just not our thing. We would certainly come here again!

We had 3 different 14” pizzas and a portion of Buffalo chicken; really enough for 4 adults and five kids for a lunch. The pizzas were delicious; thick, perfect amount of toppings and great crust. We had meat lovers, one with pesto and ricotta and the best, Buffalo chicken pizza - you must try that! We had our food to go so can’t say about the restaurant, but will return for sure. Thank you!

We love going here for the pizza. It’s great- not too thin, not to thick. And very tasty toppings.Only complaint was our server seemed overwhelmed and only had a few tables. We had to wait so long for her to take the credit card, we ended up paying cash just so we could leave.

Love this place for lunch so went for dinner Thursday night Prime Rib. Two couples, our waitress came and seemed angry. I asked about a beer they had on draft and she said, "I have NO idea!, I don't drink beer!!!" OK. My friend asked about getting the prime rib rare, and she said, " We have 3 cooking", and never answered his question. Our dinners a came and the prime rib was so tough I couldn't eat mine, and the taste was terrible. Our waitress had a bad attitude, just mean. Won't ever go back at night for dinner there.Thank you for your review. I am so sorry that your group had this experience. It is not acceptable to us and has and will continue to be addressed with all our staff. Normally, I would suggest that you let your Server know if your meal is not to your liking so that we may correct it; however, it is obvious that this was not possible this particular night. I am sorry that I was not there at the time. Our primary goal is to have happy/satisfied customers so I hope that you will give us another chance by coming back in for either lunch or dinner. I hope to meet you personally.
