Dillon's Local is a cozy watering hole in downtown Plymouth serving delicious comfort food, locally sourced specials, handcrafted cocktails and great, local beer.
We went in a dinner time and were seated immediately. Although not directly on the water, it's very close and the food is so good. Hubby had the Shepherd Pie which he said was excellent, I had the fish tacos which I've eaten lots of places, these were the very best I've ever had. Locally owned, you can't go wrong here!

Visiting family, we were taken to East Bay Grill since it was close to their home. We were so impressed, we went back a second time during our visit. The staff is friendly to a flaw; my sister and brother and law are regulars so that may have been a contributing factor. We were seated on a large veranda on a very pleasant day. We enjoyed cocktails; the dirty Saphire martini was excellent, with the server honoring my request for olives stuffed with blue cheese. The first time I had the Scrod, a baked cod dish that was excellent. The second time I had the sword fish that was also outstanding. Highly recommended!

Located in a restored 1900's train depot. Exposed brick and Original artwork highlight an elegant yet comfortable atmosphere.
Solstice is housed in an old train depot. The hostess at the front is quite nice. The waiter Oakley was excellent. The Wine list is solid. I tried the Down East Cider and loved it. For an appetizer, we Tried Kung Poa Ribs. Loved them. The wedge salads are very large and very good. The Grilled Double Pork Chop was awesome. The special of the Day was Halibut. It was so fresh and so well done. Too many restaurants overcook fish, not here. The grilled lamb sirloin was a huge portion. The Deserts were all good. The meal was not cheap, but it was well worth the price. Simply loved it. Note: The Trains do go buy, it travels really fast and hard to even notice.

I personally love this place and I'm a huge fan of their scones and breakfast sandwiches. The coffee is excellent too. We live somewhat near the Winsor House but had never dined there. We were able to get reservations and decided to try the Winsor House. The venue is a charming old inn. The bar is a small but cute L-shaped design with about 8 stools. The fireplace in the bar had a real wood burning fire place which was a nice touch for a damp December evening. We were promptly seated at out appointed time. The service was efficient and pleasant. The salmon and short ribs were very good. The only difficulty was a hamburger was served to raw so it was sent back to the kitchen. The kitchen sent a new and properly cooked hamburger, which also got good reviews. As a dessert, the carrot cake got good reviews. The Winsor House was serving a Yuletide martini which was excellent. Their beer selection was also very respectable with a nice blend of drafts, bottles and cans. We would recommend the Winsor House to those looking to dine in the Duxbury area.

Well-known in the South Shore area between Boston and the Cape, this iconic takeout is strictly focused on turkey, year round. On a recent Friday evening, the place was packed with locals stocking up for the weekend. You can get the full turkey dinner with all the sides, pies, an uncooked turkey to prepare yourself, turkey soup, or a decent turkey sandwich.Turkeys are cooked onsite; staff are very knowledgeable. This is strictly take out--no tables. The line moves along the cases and jams up at the registers, but everyone gets helped quite efficiently. A family business that has been around for 75+ years, it is iconic in Duxbury and surrounds.

So many years have passed since first dining at the Milepost. When passing by, it always looked busy. This time we stopped. Our meals were excellent...nicely prepared...decent portions, and fair pricing. Me meal was so flavorful. The menu is quite extensive. The seating is a little tight but the atmosphere is warm and cozy. Service was excellent as well. We expect to be stopping by this gem more often.

Family of seven immediately seated. Very good service. Everyone in our party enjoyed the entrees -- bucatini with seafood stew and goat cheese ravioli were especially good. Looking forward to returning soon. The building is very charming -- nice place for a family get together.
