It was our last dinner in Cape Cod and it was a great evening with our teen. We had the seared striped bass, two ways chicken, fresh oysters, and duck confit and spinach salad. The food was cooked just right and the sauce for the fish was very flavorful. Our son really liked the sour apple in the duck salad. Our host Antonella was great!

A traditional, Tavern and Restaurant with wood paneled walls, open fireplaces and an outdoor covered deck for al Fresco dining during summer. The fare includes guest favorites such as roasted rack of New Zealand lamb, and seafood strudel (a seafood blend
Lovely apportioned restaurant with an excellent lunch menu at reasonable prices. Although I did not order the rack of lamb (for lunch???) my choice of a ham and brie sandwich with pasta salad side was perfect. My wife's selection of broiled portobello and goat cheese sandwich was a little too heavy on pesto but still delicious. I added a glass of summer sangria to wash it all down. A completely delightful meal. We have been here a few times and never disappointed

Enjoy our award-winning cuisine and cocktails while overlooking the priceless beauty of the Nantucket Sound.
Ocean House is a beautiful setting, right on Nantucket Sound. Food and service are excellent. I had the tuna taco and a swordfish special. My husband had a salad and the cape cod chip encrusted cod. A couple of glasses of wine. We were here to celebrate my birthday and it was on the reservation. It would have been nice to have a complimentary dessert or just something special to acknowledge the event.

I can't top all the glowing reviews except to say they are right and this was a lifetime experience meal.My favorite was a combo with seared scallop, pork belly with crispy skin, and maple ginger...soup(?, such a plain word) It had strong flavors in each element that maintained their separation, while also complementing each other. The precision of the many many elements of the dishes is very impressive. Each course has several components and each component has several separate flavors. Each component has precise textures, presentation, colors, etc.A lot of care went into this meal...which changes monthly.

First time visiter this morning. Unbelievable selection. Food was fantastic and prompt. Server was a joy to deal with. Grabbed some fresh muffins to bring home. My only issue was the coffee was not very good. But that wonât stop me from returning.

Having eaten for the first time at this restaurant last year, we were curious as to whether our wonderful first experience was an isolated incident or indicative of consistent quality. Happily, our night out at Fin this week was pretty stellar! We started off a the bar where the convivial bartender (is she the owner? manager? just a great bartender?) kept us company as we arrived early for our reservation. After enjoying our well poured drinks, we were seated at a great table. Our server Juli proved both sweetly friendly and knowledgeable. As for the food....both "Fin grown" raw oysters and grilled squid were absolutely delicious appetizer choices. My halibut entree, accompanied by fresh corn and Romesco was perfectly cooked. My husband's striped bass special was stellar-not a smidge was left on his plate! The rolls provided were fresh and delicious. Though almost full, we somehow found the room to share a roasted peach parfait. Perfection! Would absolutely recommend Fin.

The oldest building in Cape Cod. We arrived from Boston at 11:30 right when they opened up, perfect timing. We were thirsty and ready for lunch. The entire staff was very friendly and accommodating. There were 4 of us, we all ordered Bloody Marys, they were excellent. The food was fantastic and this is lunch, I wished we had time to come back for diner, I quess that will happen if we are in Cape Cod again. I highly recommend this place.Thank you for your review and for your recommendation. We are glad you enjoyed your Lunch and we will look forward to your return visit for Dinner.Sheila

You know it's good when you think about the food for a year and then make a special trek to get there while on annual vacation. A "good friend" once introduced us to this place and now it's a "must do" when visiting the Cape. The cranberry walnut bread is mouth watering good. We are a walking advertisement for it, telling everyone we run into about how good it is. Their omelettes are great too. Overall, it's just a great breakfast establishment.

I have been to The Red Cottage just two other times, but I have been looking forward to returning since last year! When I visit the Cape, I enjoy having breakfast out. This is my favorite! The menu is vast, and the selection of food makes it difficult to choose because it is all so appealing. The French Toast Foster is so good! Caramelized bananas over French toast! They also have a cinnamon bun French toast that is to die for. A large selection of crêpes, eggs, and many other breakfast items. They also serve lunch. I canât say enough good things! Expect a line, though. And they donât accept credit cards⦠Bring cash.

Been passing this place for ten years and finally decided to try it. We were not impressed. The menu had a little of everything on it, and we tried a variety of different things. None of them were very good. The interior is dark and dated, and service was very average. There are too many good places around to go here, sorry.Sorry you were not impressed. We always wish for our customers to have a great experience, and most of them do. If you would like to contact me further about what meals you had, I would be happy to discuss any issues that came up. [email protected] Have a good summer!
