As a JBrian, I vote this as the best wan tan noodle in town (and possibly Malaysia). Seriously, the wan tan noodles from Ho Seng Kee is a typical Johor wan tan noodle. Unlike the rest of the wan tan noodles around Malaysia (which is usually the black soy sauce, salty type), Johor wan tan noodles are known to be the 'white' type which is more plain. We do not mix soy sauce with our wan tan noodles. Instead, we mix them with a type of fragrant chilli sauce (nope, it's not ketchup) which is subtly spicy.
Ho Seng Kee signature noodles are springy, crunchy and soft which mades them stands out from the rest of the wan tan noodles. Char siew are thinly sliced and wan tans are filled with good amount of fragrant minced pork. You can ask for the dry or soup version but imho, the dry spicy version is the best. So unless you can't even take a little spicy, do ask for the spicy one as their spicy level is really subtle.
The downside of this restaurant is the waiting time. Honestly, I had never seen anyone making wan tan noodles this slow. They take an average of 30-45 minutes to prepare your noodles (regardless of how many bowls you order). Avoid this place if you are in a rush or if you are very hungry. The best time to go will be non peak hours on weekdays.
They mix the noodles, char siew and wantan together in the dry version and is serve with a clear soup. While the bowl of wan tan noodle is really delicious, the soup is pretty bland to me though. Prices for wan tan noodle is consider expensive especially since their portion is pretty small. Drinks here are exorbitantly charged as well.
So, really the only thing worth waiting in this shop is their dry spicy wan tan noodle. Yes and for that, we are willing to wait 30-60 minutes.
Tip : You can call up to pre order take aways. That will save you more time. However, phone Reservations are only available for take aways.

Service is fairly good and the seafood dishes were very tasty and well cooked. We had fried vermicelli with clams, dog conchs, fried prawns and some other seafood dishes. The highlight of the dinner was juvenile shark cheeks which was just delectable. Slightly pricey but tolerable.

I visit this place on a regular basis and have taken many friends and clients here for both Lunch and Dinner. Not once have they failed to meet expectations - The food is always freshly prepared and cooked to perfection. Staff and Service are excellent. Toilets are very clean. In my opinion and of those of my guests that I have taken here. This without doubt is one of the best Seafood Restaurants in JB.

It was recommended by a business partner that this is the best place to come in this area for Chinese food and it gives a decent repertoire. Its all dark glass around the restaurant and basic in its decorations.
We had the chicken with ginger sauce. This was kampong chicken and therefore very healthy. Stir-fried vegetables very good. Pork on the hot-plate also very good. Steamed fish was very big. Fried beancurd with Thai sauce was also good.

Near by Bukit Layang-layang Pasir Gudang. RIght acrross the street from Petron Taman Dahlia, Near Perodua Service Centre taman Cendana.
At first look, the cafe looks amazing. I cant believe we have this kind of cafe in Pasir gudang and from affar you just cant missed it with bright yellow lights and huge signboard. The decor and the environment is so inviting and we feel as if we are in borneo. The food was amazing. I had their signature borneo stew, well i give them 5/5. That is how amazing their stew is. They also serve local dishes and western food. I've tasted their Grilled lamb. Gotta tell you, that's the best grilled lamb i had in a long long time. rich with flavour and their sauce is amazing. Cant wait to go there again this weekend.

I have been visiting this restaurant constantly for a year and their service level has not dropped. They are attentive even when the restaurant is crowded and food usually comes on time. They give us appetiser, and that is something I love! All their other food tastes good too!
