Something for everyone. We enjoy the Smokey pizza options and the variety of meat toppings ... kids can also get plain cheese, which keeps everyone happy. Salads are also tasty.Ranks poorly on the bang-for-buck scale. Food is good, though it's pricey for individual-sized pizzas.Three ping pong tables at the back of the restaurant are a nice way to kill time as you wait for a table to open. However, lines form for the ping pong tables as well, so it could have you flashing back to lines at Disney World. Budget accordingly (wallet and time) and grab a drink at the bar as the table-waits can routinely be 45 minutes at peak 7pm dining times.

We stopped by on a Friday night for a meal after a long week. Had no expectations other than to give it a try. Friendly, competent service. Seemed to have a lot of regulars and pretty active carry out traffic which are good signs. Had a nice appetizer of roasted peppers and anchovies followed by sausage and peppers and veal parm. All were very well prepared and very satisfying. Carafe of red wine. The owner is friendly and gracious. Vicino stays on our list of places for good food, friendly service and good value. Parking nearby at the county garage which is free after 7 on weekdays.

It is a busy place during lunch hour as office goers flock here to taste Italian. Location is great across from the metro. They have lunch specials, which are little bit on the high side pricewise, with soda and with special choice of meat. But I thoroughly enjoyed my Chicken rigatoni. Service can be lot better, the waitress forgot to bring bread but most tables got it. Speaking of my table, it was very sticky.

Last night was our first visit to Sfoglina, and it was my birthday, which my husband had mentioned when he made the reservation. All the staff wished me Happy Birthday. Nice!Enjoyed a creative cocktail and a superb meal with good chianti. My husband was thrilled at the selection of grappas. The ambiance: lovely and the staff attentive. Our meal was exceptional and worth the price. Look forward to returning for another special occasion.

Cozy and lovely restaurant with large selection of pizzas and panini, also a surprisingly large vegan menu. For plant-based/vegan pizzas, you should try the vegan wild mushroom and the vegan capricciosa, the chicken pesto is a bit boring. The staff members are friendly and attentive. You can sit outside on a nice day. They don't accept reservation.

The food is well prepared and well presented. The staff is helpful and polite. The ambiance is that of a small Italian restaurant, charming and intimate. Two of us had the lamb chops, which were delicious. Two of us had pasta choices, which were also satisfying and plentiful.

Had dinner at this restaurant while on business in Silver Spring. Rather average pasta meals with rather below-average (slow) service. I am not very familiar with other restaurants in this area, but suspect there are better choices. We want to deliver service and dishes that are more than just average, so we're disappointed you left with this impression of us. We pride ourselves on serving freshly made dishes using tried and true recipes. Our servers are dedicated to making your visit memorable in all the right ways, but we're sorry if you felt the service wasn't quick enough. We'd love to welcome you back in for another try if you're ever in the area. We know our menu is full of dishes that are sure to impress.Best,Sergio & Luigi, Management
