I live in Northern Virginia but work in Suitland. For the uninitiated, Suitland doesn't offer many good dining options. But if you're willing to explore unfamiliar areas, places like Mid Atlantic Seafood make it worth the effort.A few co-workers and I decided to visit Mid Atlantic Seafood based on it's good Google reviews. The place is clean and professionally staffed. There is a wide selection of items, from fried fish to ribs and chicken. The number of available sides is impressive. The dessert case has many good looking options, too.For value, this place can't be beat. I bought the lunch special for $6.88 total. I received two pieces of fried whiting and two sides (plus a fountain drink and corn bread!). The sides were ample and tasty. I opted for the potatoes & onions and the brussels sprouts. Many of the others looked great as well.Check this place out and you won't be disappointed!

Great selection of fish, Seafood, crabs. We needed to dine in. Unfortunately, it was 100 degrees outside, and the a/c was not functional or couldn't keep up, so it was hot inside. I had to take my food with me and put it in my cooler to take home with me. Wasn't in the mood to hang around in a hot establishment. Maybe try I. The fall or winter. I heard the crabs were tasty. My fish was good. I had the trout, and brother had fried shrimp. He said it wasn't special.

This is one one my favorite places to visit when I have a taste for fried Cajun whiting. I also adore their mustard greens and veggie exstravaganza salad with the twinette dressing. The energy and customer service is always on point. For quicker service call in your order before arrival.

This place is not what you call a real crab spot because who ever is responsible for ordering their crabs need to tale a class on what sizes are for sales and which ones are not they always seem to have the Not for sales ones there , they actually sell baby crabs that are so small you feel bad when you are eating them , we were so disappointed when we ordered them I said never again and we have stuck to out decision for years now , the only thing that we order now if we go there is the steamed shrimp . So with that being said I think that the prices can be a little higher than the other seafood places in the area ant they need to do the research so they can keep up with the going prices for the area , this place is a mom and pop place and I feel that they are not putting too much in it they are just making a quick buck from the locals in the area who so not want to travel out for some real seafood experience.

I visited this Establishment in the Company of my brothers. The decision to visit was made only minutes before. As we arrived and it was our turn we were told it would be 5 minutes to be shown to a table and within minutes the Lady showed us to our Table. The Menu was simple and made it easy to decide. When our Waiter Corey arrived to take orders he took his time to assist with our Order. Our Meal Order arrived in minutes before it did were served Corn Bread with was very delicious and melted in the Mouth. I played safe by having Fish and Chips which came with delicious Coleslaw. My Brothers had Cat fish and Mixed Fish Platter. Our Meal was really delicious and filling. We didn't order Desert as we were all full. This write up is a reflection of the Ratings. I am sure I would visit again soon. One of My Brothers suggested the visit. We're so glad you had a great experience!
