I stay at the Holiday Inn in Gaithersburg on a regular base and I always have a couple of dinners there during the stay. I like the staff a lot. Over the last 4 years I've seen much less turnover than in most of the hotel so when I come back I recognize the waitresses and they recognize me. I've build some "habits" over there, I feel comfortable. And the food is good. Over the time I have tasted almost everything on the menu and I have never been disappointed. I had some very nice surprises compared to other restaurant in similar type of hotel. The preparation of food, the cooking of the ingredients, the seasoning, all is really good. And they can do things your way when you ask. Excellent jobDear Mark,Today I had the opportunity to review the comments that you submitted regarding your stay at the Holiday Inn Gaithersburg MD. Arrived late and had few choices, so I ordered a burger and beer. The burger was excellent, one of the best I have had. The fries were really good, and typically I toss them as they are usually bad. These were hot, crisp, and perfectly seasoned. Beer selection was surprisingly good for a hotel.Staff were friendly and fast.

Welcome to Union Jack's. Not quite a bar and not quite a restaurant, Union Jack's is a British hybrid of sorts, offering a casual-meets-refined atmosphere that welcomes beer drinkers and wine aficionados, non-fussy eaters and foodies alike. We are a casua
Ok for a beer, but donât eat here. All the food is very subpar. Menuâs what youâd expect at a British themed place, but the quality is below a Dennyâs. Only redeeming feature is the patio with water views and TVs. The Mexican place next door had an hour wait. Union Jacksâ patio was empty. Should have heeded that warning.

Downtown Crown is always fun during happy hour. The beer selection is varied and has local brews as well as hard to find international beers. Beer turnover is high so everything I have purchased has been fresh. Great selections of wine on tap and in store.

Crazy delicious and a little bit bohemian. Welcome to the Barking Mad. Were we mad to create a Counter Culture cafe where people could enjoy Americaâs top rated coffee and made-from-scratch pastries? Are we batty to cook in a wood hearth and pair modern f
I'm so glad we decided to eat here. The server was attentive and friendly. We started with the pretzel and crab dip which was excellent. I had one of their specialties which as salmon with shrimp in a lemon sauce served over chopped potatoes. I would highly recommend this dish. My friend opted for the fish tacos which she said were good, but they needed some non spicy sauce only because she does not like spice. I can't wait to go back and try other menu items!
