Depending upon where you are coming from in downtown Silver Spring, there is a bit of a climb to reach this restaurant. However, once you reach the restaurant everything levels off for you. This restaurant is very accessible with tables spread out and two his/her accessible restrooms. We all had Pho Tai and Pho Tai, Nam, Gan, Sach which was so delicious and served hot, which we appreciated. We also ordered Thai Iced Tea and Iced Coffee with condensed milk. This restaurant also serves beer and wine. We had great service and enjoyed the ambiance in the restaurant especially the photographs on the walls.

Ok so, this is supposed to be the greatest and most authentic Pho in the area. I've never had it before so I didn't have a reference, but we met friends there who gushed over it. The avocado bubble tea was amazing. They have two vegetarian dishes: summer rolls and the Pho. It was good but I didn't really understand the fuss. My son did not like the Pho with meatballs at all. All the adults enjoyed their food. While it was fine overall, I wouldn't go back anytime soon.

I was so excited to try this place as there are few Vietnamese options in this area. Was incredibly disappointed for the following reasons:1. flies in the seating area - never acceptable if not outdoors. 2. Messy seating area- I know restaurants get busy, but a good sweeping between customers was definitely not happening.3. tasteless menu items - my first entree--the lemon grass fish was horrible, so I tried another--tofu and vegetables, I know, bad idea. It was equally as bad. None of my family members liked their entrees either. In fact, all of our sauces tasted the same, which was strange.4. Non-existent customer service- they weren't horrible, but did the bare minimum. Not sure if these are just growing pains, but best to avoid for now.

I got the feeling that they wanted to provide good service, but were unsure how to do it. Catching them open was the first challenge--closed early the first two times I tried, but being a local business, kept trying. The Pho was just okay; nothing special. The spring rolls were good, but the peanut sauce with the rolls wasn't good at all. Figured we could try a second time, but the service was so bad that we left without ordering. Plenty of Pho in the area, so won't be back.

This restaurant has my favorite pho! We always get it to go but have eaten there once. It's my go-to meal on cold days or when I'm sick. Try it out! You'll be impressed!
