The food is quite tasty. I got the 1/4 chicken white meat plate with plantains and green beens. Yes, green beans and they were very tasty. Seemed to have the right amount of butter. Spices on the chicken were very nice. Plantains were quite tasty. It's cafeterias style, and you seat yourself. hey don't crack up the heat during the winter so you'll be wearing your coat. Upbeat music playing. I will return to sample their very interesting menu. Besides chicken, steaks, shrimp, salmon. Great sides. Check it out, you'll be back for more.

This was my first visit. It is a chain restaurant and has basically the same menu as other Peruvian style restaurants. Their cooking ovens are not prominently displayed like other competitors display them. The interior design is welcoming and spacious.I started with a large steak salad ($11) which was âyugeâ, yet surprisingly very good. For my entrée I had a whole chicken ($12.50). At least the chicken did have some natural flavor but like most Peruvian places is overcooked and dry. They do offer a mayonnaise-based sauce and a hotter sauce. I am not a fan of mayonnaise on my chicken and would have liked other sauce options. Next time I might bring my own. Note that they do have many beverage options, including beer on tap.

Peruvian cuisine is one of our very favorites since first really getting into it 25 years ago. Since then, this part of upper Montgomery County has gotten quite a number of Peruvian restaurants, from chic and expensive to basic and simple. In other words, the competition has gotten pretty stiff. We have favorites, frankly, on who makes the best saltado. We figure if they get that right, a lot of the rest will follow! Fair? Maybe not, but between the horrendous noise at this place, the fact that whatever they clean the floor with can cause you to nearly break your neck because it's so slippery (all three times), and the only so-so saltado, we just don't need to go back. Other dishes - seafood in particular - aren't bad, but we've had better elsewhere.

The best Peruvian Charbroiled Chicken in the area. Rated by Zagat as #1. Fresh, fast and delicious. Family friendly. Very clean enviroment. Everybody talks about our homemade spicy sauce yummy. Stores in MD and VA.
Peruvian style place, 1/4 or 1/2 chicken with rice and beans is what most customers get. Sides of plantains, mashed potatoes, salad, etc. I just got a salad, which was huge and great, with a side of mashed potatoes, both were way above average. Employees super friendly, place very clean and newer. Near little Caesars, same shopping center as wendeys. The have a huge menu, lots of chicken sandwiches, chicken or steak salads, not beer. Will go again

It's been quite a long time since the last time we ate at this restaurant where we usually enjoyed its fish dish and hot rolls (my favorite). My friend and I recently returned to this restaurant and were surprised to learn that our favorite dishes were no longer available. Since we were both very hungry, we decided to stay and ordered two dishes made of beef and chicken. For dessert, we had fried bananas. My friend commented on the limited amount of beef in her dish. About 90% of her serving was french fries and the rest was small amount of sliced beef. Mine is about 90% rice, the rest was chicken. The dishes were served in big platters/plates so we had "to dig in to find our meats". I paid approximately $45.00 for this lunch and we both felt that we could have eaten better tasting foods and cheaper ones for this amount of money had we gone to a different restaurant..Conclusion: we're not going back to this restaurant. There are several restaurants next door offering Chinese, Peruvian and American dishes. We'll try them during our next visit.
