I ordered the small curry chicken and small is definitely not the word to describe this plate it was packed with chicken and peas and rice and it was super delicious!! I haven't been in Maryland in several months and haven't eaten here in several years but the food is consistently the same!! if you are looking for some jerk then this is curry chicken place to go!

Same quality and taste of the Irie Cafe carryouts, upped a few notches by the full restaurant, bar and expanded menu. The only location to offer Jerk Salmon and Shrimp, which are amazing.
Where to eat Bar food in Lanham: The Best Restaurants and Bars
We entrusted the Lanham location to cater the food for my motherâs repast for about 150 people. The owner, Angela, ensured the food was ready before hours. It was perfect! The food was well-prepared, authentic Jamaican flavor, and fresh! We definitely recommend Dat Jerk for events!!!! Thank you for making it special!!!

I tried two different types of wings. The jerk wings were delicious and fresh. The ziggy wings tasted like they were reheated despite the fact that I went early in the day. Ample portions. Coco bread was delicious, too. Highly recommended and I'd go again.
Ordered the jerk pork lunch special. Wife only got what looked like a hot pocket. She got a little nervous about how clean the place was. It wasn't the cleanest but its kind of what I expected. Not sure why but it could have used a good cleaning. Food was different. The jerk pork was good. The rice and beans were ok. The cabbage was not good. Meal came with some plantains which were ok. Overall it was fun to try but doubt well be back. Just not our kind of food. The place was busy as we were sitting there so it seems the locals like it. Maybe we just didn't try the right thing. Afterwards we went next door and got a dunkin donut whic was delicious!
