Their food is outstanding with a real attention to the nuances of seasoning. Great somewhat unique flavor profiles, even in the standard dishes. They also pay careful attention to the temperature of items on the buffet bar so you experience the dishes as intended. We sampled a number of items from the daily lunch buffet and everything was great. The selection leaned toward meat dishes rather than vegetarian but there was enough for each of us. This is really one of the best Indian restaurants we've been to anywhere.

These folks have clearly improved quality since my last review. Our pakora, chicken korma, lamb rogan josh, and garlic naan were pretty good, although the korma could have used significantly more coconut milk/cream. Service was exceptionally friendly and attentive, and, as always, we appreciated their byob policy.

Pavan is a family operated Indian grocery with a few tables for eating in the back. The dishes are primarily South Indian and thus a wonderful change of pace from the standard fare served at most Inidian restaurants. Prices are extremely reasonable andd the food is definitely home cooked, I.e. fresh. Don't miss the somosa chaat. The poha is generally quite good as well.There's always a goreat selection of takeaway items.
