Stopped here for lunch around noon on a Saturday. There weren't too many people here yet (it doesn't open until 11:30), so we had a section almost all to ourselves. While we munched on the complementary freshly made tortilla chips and very nice house salsa, we perused the menu, finally deciding on the pescado Veracruz (sautéed fish topped with tomatoes, capers, onions, olives, peppers and white wine) with a side for fried sweet plantains. We asked and were told the fish was tilapia - previously when we'd had this dish elsewhere, red snapper (which is traditionally used) was the fish, so we wondered how the tilapia would compare. The food arrived after a short wait and certainly looked good. We sampled the plantains and found them just barely warm - clearly they had been made up first and sat around waiting for the fish to be completed. The fish was a bit long in the tooth - having a distinctly fishy flavor - and compared to snapper (which is firmer) was decidedly mushy to the point of falling apart when we tried to get a forkful. Service was fairly good, although we had three or four servers during the course of the meal so didn't get anything like personalized service. Overall, a good meal, but not the best Mexican that we've had.

Excellent local eatery offering Mexican and Latin cuisne.
Absolutely fantastic homemade latino food! Guacamole was very fresh, chili con queso was not velveeta with chilli. We had the mole sauce with chicken enchiladas. Delicious. Can't wait to come back. Everything I put in my mouth was amazing. Service was excellent. The atmosphere is clean and lively.

Their guacamole is very good and it is made at the table. The first time we went here I did really like my meal the burrito norteno. The next 2 times I did not care for the carne asada or the beef nachos. Both the steak and beef were overcooked and tasted black without any seasoning. My daughter got the steak fajitas and taco salad. The fajitas were better then the carne asada, but again the salad was bland. The service was efficient and our waiter was friendly and the margaritas were good.
