This restaurant is now known as Aztecas Restaurant in Easton, Maryland and is operated by the same folks that own El Dorado which has a new location also in Easton, Maryland. The menu here is limited to one page. Selections include salads, tacos and other Mexican dishes. Our visit sampled several and they were quite good. Wines and beers are available. Seating inside is limited; however, there is an outside patio available in warmer weather. Parking is limited, but street parking is nearby.

El Dorado Bar & Grill

Every so often we wish to have something to eat before a symphony concert or movie in Easton, and nearly always we head to El Dorado. Located in a strip mall, there is ample parking and is centrally located. The booths and tables are well distributed, so the restaurant is spacious. The noise level is moderate and not disturbing. The service is friendly and attentive. We like their margaritas. The chips are occasionally stale, but usually fresh. Our favorite entrees are the taco salad, carnitas and carne asada. A side order of yucca is a rare treat. We have never had desert at El Dorado. Two entrees, two margaritas, tax and gratuity, less than $30 per person.El Dorado is not fine dining. Service is prompt and the food is slightly above average, but certainly not memorable. For our purposes and our expectations, it works just fine. No negative criticism will be presented here. If you are looking for a bite to eat at a place that is unpretentious and friendly, El Dorado will not surprise or disappoint you. You will find us there before the symphony.

This restaurant recently changed names from Plaza Tapatia. We stopped for a quick lunch when returning from the beach, The food was adequate but the service was terrible. Our server was glued to his cell phone. We were here for 1 1/2 hours for a light meal. Couldn't even get the check. Avoid this place if you are in a hurry.
