Reviews on Pub food in Cumberland, Maryland, United States. At the base of the Appalachian Mountains in Allegany County, Maryland, the city of Cumberland has been a military outpost manned by George Washington, a shipping hub, a manufacturing capital and "The Gateway to the West." Head to the Cumberland Gap National Historical Park and explore the same paths taken by early American pioneers. A ride on the Western Maryland Scenic Railroad carries visitors back to the golden age of rail, chugging past stunning mountain scenery in vintage train cars.

This is by appearance a very interesting bar and restaurant particularly for a younger crowd (my opinion) attended a catered dinner there thought when I was younger I might hang out at a place like this. My daughter bought a mixed drink which I thought was expensive. over all I like the pool tables and the atmosphere.
This business is so terrible especially its food. The woman also is related to a disgraceful attorney who was disbarred for mail fraud. The woman is judgmental at anyone who is not buying a alcoholic beverage. Yes Rhonda I know about you having rats that leave poop in your establishment who told me I will never say. Please folks when visiting a bar in Cumberland don't visit this place at all.
This restaurant is divided into two halves. One side serves dinner and has a full bar and the other side serves breakfast. Iâve left details of the dinner service under my Ramada Cumberland Downtown review. Breakfast was served daily in this restaurant and they managed to deal with the masses very efficiently (and certainly more so than during dinner service). Folks were seated quickly and served equally fast. Decent variety of breakfast items available and it was all tasty and served hot. Ask for a window seat if you can as though it sits next to a highway, the front lawn, trees and squirrels provide a relaxing wake-me-up view. They make decent omelettes here and flavoursome sautéed potatoes. I also recommend their Bacon, Egg & Cheese biscuit which comes in a melt-in-your-mouth soft biscuit. This hotel restaurant ranks pretty high up there for a hotel breakfast service. Very well done indeed!

FYI there is not such a location in Cumberland, the restaurant is actually in LaVale. Small difference between the 2 towns but there are duplicate listings for this place because of the confusion. On to the review of the location: We were taken here by friends for lunch and were pleased. The service was excellent, and the location is easy to get to. As with other Ruby Tuesday locations, the prices are high. The main course (meat) portions are good, but the vegetable servings are very small.

My wife and I and two friends stopped in as part of biking the GAP trail. The bartender was brilliant, friendly and knew his beers. Great beer selection and cheap and GOOD food. We were there on the $2.00 taco night! if you are passing through or doing the trail, you have to stop in!

Family friendly Italian steak and seafood restaurant. We also provide on and off site catering. Proudly serving the greater Cumberland, MD area since 1993.
Stopped by for lunch. Service was great with food served fast. Have to have the hot chips & crap dip - best we have had in the area. Portions are large. I had a Reuben and my wife, a large salad which she loved. We will come again.

We had just arrived in Cumberland and seeing the cute Baltimore Street pedestrian area in downtown we couldn't resist sitting at an outside table for dinner. We decided on dining at The Manhattan Social. Hannah our server was friendly and welcoming and suggested some items. To start we ordered the soup du jour,a seafood chowder that was quite nice and the curds and sprouts because it sounded interesting,it was ok. Main courses were the falafel/tahini salad and I thoroughly enjoyed that. My partner went for the grilled salmon and that was also very good. A side of mac n cheese was pure comfort food. Wanted to order dessert but we were stuffed! They also have alcohol and I did enjoy a cocktail that Hannah recommended. Definitely a good choice for us and won't hesitate to dine there again whenever we're in Cumberland!

The hotel recommended this as easy walk so we went over to Uncle Jack's. The salad was the best thing we had. Also got steak/cheese sandwich, pizza, and onion rings. Even the pizza was a full grease onslaught. The steak/cheese barely had any cheese, although I will say it was a lot of beef. Fast service. Low price. You really need an antacid after the meal due to all the grease. If ever in Cumberland again, I will try a different place.

Crab dip with breadsticks.... totally delicious. We also had the fried fish sandwich and fried chicken sandwich as well as the bacon/cheese fries. Huge portions and great flavour. The onion rings were great too. Service very responsive and friendly. Great lunch on the deck!!!

This cozy restaurant in downtown Cumberland, MD, has excellent crab cake sandwiches & a relaxing atmosphere. The friendly staff greet you and offer suggestions freely. A good selection of beverages & delicious ice tea. The bee sting cake was very rich but a great choice to split! Recommended when enjoying the downtown.
