Good food, great decor, great service! See the decorations enjoyed the good reasonable food. Everything is made fresh on the premise.
People must not know about Qdoba because its never crowded but it is so much better than chipotle. Identical setup but the meat is much better. And the queso really sets it apart from the competition. Great place for good mexican food!
This is a mom and pop operation its located in small house off Decatur St. I ordereda few tacos. I order three tacos chorizo, lamb and chicken. The tacos are just the protein, onions, and cilantro. Each taco is $2.50 all were very tasty. I also order dessert a flan which was $4.50. The flan was just okay. I plan to return and try more dishes in the future.

I was uncomfortable with my meal here, largely because the bathroom had no paper towels nor soap. The food was decent but not very tasty, and comparatively expensive. The meal also took longer to arrive than was stated at the counter, and I was in a hurry. Go somewhere else.

So we had a party of 14, made reservations for 1:30 all of that worked out fine. My wife and I showed up a little early so we went into the lounge next door that is part of the restaurant, so we had a margarita which was really good and we asked the bartender if we were able to take our drinks with us to the dining room when our party shows up, the bartender said "sure no problem" she went into the other side of the restaurant for something and came back to us and said, and I quote, "Are you here to meet THE WHITE PEOPLE?" my wife and I almost fell of our stools, could you imagine any restaurant the has mostly Caucasians as customers asking a Hispanic couple "are you here to meet the Hispanic People or the Mexican people? They would be sued the next day, the place is dirty has multiple code violations from holes in the floor, missing tiles, electrical plates missing, and toilet in the mens' room was pretty much not even attached to the floor, save your money, there is no reason to go out of your way to go here that is for sure

You know you have stepped into the real deal when the people taking your order does not speak English and you have to order by pointing to the menu. I loved the fact that the food was fresh, quickly prepared and just plain delicious!! The tacos are in a class all by themselves, I loved the pork belly ones!! You can't go wrong with anything that you order.
This is past UofMD about 2 miles south directly on RT1. Parking in front and back and lines usually go fast. So far so good...clean place, good food!

For $3 each I was expecting the usual single-handed meal experienced at other taquerias. These tacos were overflowing with meat, were difficult to hold with one hand, and each bite caused some chunks of meat to fall out. Besides the pleasant surprise for quantity, quality was very good. The lengua was very tender and needed some sauce (green & red accompanied the tacos). The al pastor was flavorful. The real surprise was the tender, crispy texture of the tripa helped by a few minutes on the flat top grill. If you want Coke, both domestic and Mexican versions are available. It can be busy during lunch. Ordering is faster if you speak a little Spanish. They assume most gringos take out. The TV is blaring a Hispanic station.

Humble kitchen offering Mexican standards such as tacos, burritos, quesadillas, sopes & enchiladas, plus a salsa bar. We also have Salvadorian food
My another successful experiment with Mexican food. I tried them during my recent DC trip for dinner and everyone in my group was impressed with their food.Everything we ordered was absolutely fresh and was great in quantity. We couldn't finish one full Burrito as we were already full with other dishes. The place looks small and from outside sometimes you may miss this place as there is no big banner or poster showing their presence. You may need to struggle a bit for parking as well as they don't have many parking spaces but the nearby lanes have enough parking spaces and there are couple of public schools and Church also where you can park. The look of the restaurant from outside is pure Mexican and you don't have much seating available as most of the people I saw were taking the food to go but there are place to sit around 10-15 people. The lady taking orders is very nice. She explains you about the Menu and the dishes. In fact, I ordered three Sodas and while billing she adjusted two of them with my burritos and I was not charged for them while I was unaware of the deal. Shows their good customer service and honesty. All in all I loved this place, they may not have the best of the interiors or an expensive ambience but their food is good to cover everything.I am definitely going to them whenever I am in this area.

....in this simple, yet extraordinary taqueria, where, every time you come back you feel you are in central Mexico and are never disappointed... Many taquerias are full on Sunday, but this one is full every night, so prepare yourself to several minutes of waiting.. your patience will be compensated by the variety of Mexican country flavors.. from tongue to jowls to tripe to liver or heart for the courageous and the cognoscenti, and more common items. like chorizo, chicken, nopales, carnitas and so on.. definitely off center,as compared to the center of DC, but worth visiting for any food aficionado...
