Reviews on Mediterranean food in Potomac, Maryland, United States. Potomac ( listen (help·info)) is a census-designated place (CDP) in Montgomery County, Maryland, United States, named for the nearby Potomac River. Home to royalty, billionaires, diplomats, and the international business elite, it is one of the most prestigious communities in the Washington, D.C. area (and the US). In 2013, CNNMoney listed Potomac as the most affluent town in all the United States based on median household income. Potomac is also the seventh-most top-educated American small town according to Forbes. Bloomberg Businessweek labeled Potomac as the twenty-ninth-richest zip code in the United States in 2011, stating that it had the largest population of any U.S. town with a median income of more than $240,000. In 2012, The Higley Elite 100 published a list of highest-income neighborhoods by mean household income, which included four neighborhoods in Potomac; one of these neighborhoods, "Carderock-The Palisades" was ranked the highest-income neighborhood in the United States, followed by "Beverly Hills-North of Sunset" in Beverly Hills, California, and "Swinks Mill-Dominion Reserve" of McLean, Virginia. More recently, two Potomac neighborhoods were ranked among the ten wealthiest neighborhoods in the country by CNBC in 2014. In 2018, data from the American Community Survey revealed that Potomac was the sixth-wealthiest city in the United States. Many Potomac residents work in nearby Washington, D.C.

The lounge and bar are fun places to have a quick bite while shopping or relaxing after work. Stop by to play some backgammon and enjoy selected wines and appetizers. We have seating for small gatherings or large group parties and offer private dining as
I usually donât give large franchise type establishments a great rating but Lebanese Taverna takes things seriously with regard to food and service. They must have dozens of wait staff working as any given time. We had a large group for dinner party and things went smooth. No one had problems and they food tasted authentic and tasteful! Especially likes their spinach wraps pastry - usually that pastry is dry and full of think uncooked leaves that are too bland. Not theirs - fully cooked spinach and dough. The meats were excellent - and veggies and salads fresh! One excellent touch to their hummus was the roasted garlic on top of the hummus plates. Nice...fluffy bread too! They allowed us to bring our own custom cake and desserts too! Enjoy - It is located on the lower first floor of the Galleria Mall, near Hugo Boss entrance. If you valet your car you will have walk Downstairs To get the Lebanese Taverna. No elevators close by but in middle of mall there is an elevator...

Excellent greek dishes but NO atmosphere. The larger room had some ambience but they put us in the corner of a small cramped room with no decoration. Very noisy and the waiter George was rushed, preoccupied and impatient with our questions. Parking was adequate.

Enjoy authentic Israeli cuisine from our wood charcoal grill. Our skewers of delicious meats come with a spread of unlimited small salads and pita.
Party of four went for dinner at 7 PM on a Wednesday night. I had falafel and the small plate salads. The falafel was good, the salads unexceptional. Worst part was the service. All four of us were entitled to "unlimited" salads. A nice concept if the server actually brought us salads. First serving was a series of very small plates for all four of us. Not enough in a dish for all of us to get a taste. Politely asked server for more salads. Nothing happens. Politely ask another passing server for more salad. Nothing happens. Got the attention of an individual who appeared to be in a supervisory position. He smiles, waves and nothing happens. Ask another passing server for additional salad. Guess what, nothing happens. Seems to me that if one of highly touted restaurant features is "unlimited" salads the restaurant should actually be prepared to fulfill the promise.

Trapezaria has been in Rockville for several years and we have dined there many times. As recently as last year we had a great meal there with friends. We ate there two weeks ago and the quality of the food seems to have slipped. My vegetarian sampler plate appeared to be largely left over from the lunch buffet, with only the grilled vegetables warmer than room temperature, and things like the spinach pie and the grilled eggplant soggy and mushy. The service was fine but the food was indifferent at best. I hope that it was just a bad night because I have enjoyed going here in the past.

At first you approach a counter and the menu seems small. But the more you look, the more you find. Soups, salads, appetizers, sandwiches, entrees, desserts, and breads. The hummus trio was flavorful and comes with plenty of veggies and pita. Chicken orzo pomodoro is flavorful, fresh, and plentiful. Salads are full of goodies and abundant. Eat in and there is a bottle of homemade Greek dressing on the table.

We were coming back from a matinee at the Kennedy Center and agree to meet our friends at 5:30. We arrived at this early hour and the restaurant was basically empty. We intended to enjoy a drink and then order dinner. Even after we told our waiter that we didn't want to order until we finished our drinks, he came back four times asking if we would like to order. My wife's food good, mine less so. My wife had the veal steak which was excellent. I ordered one of the Kofti dishes... I like spicy middle east kofti. The meat was supposed to be served over a bed of aubergine, peppers and Nan. The meat was very good, but the vegetables were a cooked down gruel of tastelessness. The Nan was cut up into small pieces into the gruel that were hard as a rock. I have been to Turkey multiple times and never had a dish served this way. We each had one drink and a glass of wine. For more than $100 plus tip, there are better restaurants in the area.

We went here for lunch and the restaurant is very quaint. I ordered the combination platter and was not disappointed since I wanted to sample various dishes. I would order this again since it was delicious! It came with Dolma (stuffed grape leaves), spanakopits (spinach in phyllo), Mousaka and chicken. Others at our table had a gyro, and chicken gryo and all wish they ordered what I had. The table also got this wonderful bread and olive oil/lemon dipping sauce.
