This is a great place in Baltimore's Little Italy, right by the Inner Harbor. The food is delicious and the atmosphere great. On the weekends they open the second floor terrace, which looked very inviting. The pasta was fantastic, and Tony, our server, also makes the drinks. He does a great job! It is a excellent neighborhood restaurant.

Located in the heart of little Italy this place is authentic Italian. I was a little disappointed they did not have garlic knots but the garlic bread was fantastic. Great flavor and very crispy, just the way it should be served. The lasagna was very good but I didn't like the way the layers were so segregated without sauce in each layer. Just a matter of personal preference. Service was very friendly and prompt. Overall, a nice place to eat.

My husband and I enjoyed our anniversary dinner here. Made the reservation online through Open Table and would have hoped for some acknowledgement of the occasion, but that didn't happen...despite that....food was very good. Portions weren't too big and we liked everything we ate. I ordered from the vegan menu - and was grateful for those options. Wished they had had more options for vegan dessert. Ambiance in the restaurant was meh. We did go upstairs and listen to the excellent guitar player in the Cabaret. Would recommend and would return.Thank you for taking the time to review our restaurant. We are delighted that you enjoyed the food and the performance. Had we been informed that you were celebrating a special occasion we would certainly have acknowledged it. We look forward to seeing you again soon!

This was my first time to the Little Italy pizzeria. The place is very small and worn, with a small counter and tight seating for 8 people. I found it disappointing that you could not see their brick oven which supposed to be the star. They could have at least posted a picture of it on the wall.My order was a side of meatballs ($6.25/three), a cold Italian sub ($12) and a plain cheese 14â pizza ($14). The three meatballs were small and a bit rubbery which means filler centric rather than meat. The Italian sub roll was not very good, and the sandwich did not have a lot of product for the price. To make matters worse they toasted the roll and it got a tad singed and gave off a bad taste. Not sure why it had glossy finish. As for the pizza, I was not impressed and expected better. There were sections of burnt outer crust, too much cheese and the dough very chewy. I will not be back.

I organized a dinner at La Scala for a group of 15, which was higher from the original amount reserved and La Scala was very accommodating. Everyone in the group loved the venue and the service provided by Carlos was excellent. The best part of the evening was the food, which was delicious! Iâd definitely book a large group here again. One tip... we had a person in the group who walks assisted by a walker and unbeknownst to me, our table was reserved on the second floor. The only way to access it was going up a flight of stairs. It was very difficult for that person, but with perseverance he was able to get to the table and enjoyed the event.Thank you for the wonderful review, Susan! We are so happy everyone truly enjoyed their experience with us and Carlos provided such excellent service. It's so great everyone enjoyed their meal and we always appreciate the feedback. We can't wait to see you again soon!

8/6/19Riccardo, you did it again! You continue to WOW us with your creative Restaurant Week menu. You set the bar very high, and you never disappoint. It was such a pleasure to introduce our friends to Sotto Sopra. We came twice, for lunch and for dinner. Derick was our server for lunch. It is always so welcoming and such an attentive server. Our lunches were just amazing â delicious and beautifully plated. We enjoyed two Boston Lettuce Salads, Fried Calamari and P.E.I. Mussels â such a great start. Our main courses were 3 Honey & Lavender Salmons and your Omelet of the Day. We all agreed it was just the best lunch.8/12/19 Then we came back for dinner last Monday. Your staff is just the best. We were warmly greeted by Lindsay, Patrick and Dave. Dave took excellent care of us. We again brought friends who had never previously dined at Sotto Sopra. They were so impressed with the décor of the dining room, the quality of the food and the service we received. We started with two Goat Cheese Salads, a Caesar Salad and the Fried Artichokes. We were off to a delicious start. Our entrees were Creamy Carbonara alla Sotto Sopra, Short Rib Ravioli, and two Pollo Ripieno. For our sweet ending, we savored the Gelato and Sorbetto of the Day, Apple Strudel, and Mascarpone Cheesecake. We were all thrilled with our dinners - thank you so much for participating in Restaurant Week.

Small restaurant with seven tables and counter but good food and service. We enjoyed some appetizers and wine then shared pizza. Food was a sty, hot and the service was good. Topped off the meal with a Nutella cream puff. Casual place for a evening meal. Would be happy to return.

It seems as though we cannot be anywhere near Baltimore without making a pilgrimage to this place for some of the best Italian food around. Everything is homemade with love â from their gigantic subs and sandwiches to the best eggplant lasagna ever tasted! You can tell itâs a fabulous find since thereâs always a policeman and/or firefighter in the throng of people placing orders to eat in their dining area or simply to take out. And then, there are the cheeses, salamis, and every other specialty cold cut you could desire. We always load up on these delicacies and bring them back to Northern Virginia with us! Give it a try â youâll be very pleased â ciao!
