I ordered the shrimp egg foo young and 4 shrimp egg rolls. I could have filled a small bottle with vegetable oil - with as much as drained out of the egg rolls. YUCK - disgusting! The location in Lexington Park is much, much better. Skip this one in California, MD. - unless you need extra vegetable oil at home.

Not bad, not special either. Food was tasty but in very limited supply on the buffet line. I have been here several times in the past, it was better then.

At the intersection of Route 5, Flat Iron Road, and Indian Bridge Road. Just south of the Brass Rail and across the street from Ebby's Finishing Touches (used to be Friendly Tavern / Creekside Pub). C'mon over for the best lumpia (beef or shrimp), pancit,
Been coming here for many years, back when it was a hole in the wall, long before they served any food- this place has perfected the art of an international grocery. You need Hi-chew? Daikon? Siopao? Kewpie mayo? Baked goods, meats, pastas? They got it. If they somehow don't they will order it for you.The food they cook is good, too. There's enough room for 2 or 3 people to eat a bite there, but the table is really meant for waiting for your food- it's a carry out place. And they don't have a ton of food they make, and the menu changes, so you know it's fresh. Clean place, never any pressure to buy anything if you just want to go in and look. But I guarantee you will find something you want to try.

This is a nice little place to stop in and get some sushi for lunch. The food has always been good when I visited. If it was closer to work I would go more often.

Don't let the casual setting fool you! This family owned Thai restaurant is a cultural treat! You will be served by a member of the family- Mom, Dad or their beautiful daughter. Grandma and grandpa don't speak English, but always have a warm smile. Sawatdee grows their Asian vegetables in gardens in the back of the restaurant, cut fresh that morning! You will be treated as a friend and neighbor when you visit. The place is growing. It used to be a Thai take-out and Asian grocery, but due to their popularity they've had to add more tables. If you are stopping in during the week for lunch, call your order in ahead of time. Word is getting out about Sawatdee and they've been getting a lot of well deserved business!I eat at Sawatdee at least twice a month, sometimes more often. I call my order into Prim and just tell her to "surprise me." I know whatever she puts together for me will be great! I have never been disappointed. They're also known as a great connection for fresh local seafood. ----- Selena S. (A Regular Customer)

Ate lunch here on a Saturday. What we liked:1. Friendly, solicitous service from start to finish2. Impeccable food, beautifully garnished, fresh and a delight to the eyes and palate. We ordered two Bento boxes, and they were so lovely: crunchy, light tempura; fresh, flavorful sushi, perfectly done white rice, and a bunch of other things for which I don't have a Japanese name. It was all DELICIOUS.3. Lovely interior. Quiet, low lights, clean and nicely appointed.4. Price was not too high--about what you'd expect. For two lunches and one mixed bar drink the bill came to $30 before tax. What we didn't like:1. Ladies' room was clean but the towel rack was empty.
Come by your local Noodles & Company at 46360 Lexington Village Way, , Lexington Park where its globally inspired dishes including noodles, soups and salads, come together to create a World Kitchen.
First time trying out this noodle shop, I find it surprisingly good, but not excellent since it tailored itself fast food style after all. The prices are all near $10 range for a big bowl of noodle which is okay to me. There are various type including Italian, Chinese, Thai, etc. which is why I called this noodle shop all in one.

California MD and Lexington Park Maryland are neighbors.
The food here is wonderful. The service is a little slow, so don't go if you are in a hurry, but the dishes are all delicious. You can ask them to dial back the heat if you don't like things too spicey.

Had the bulgogi for the first time ever. I liked it. Thin, tender, marinated beef... teriyaki flavors but not overwhelming. Also had the ramen burger...omg. really enjoyed it. Let me warn you that this burger is MESSY. I happen to love messy burgers. The messier the better in my book. I was very happy with this burger. The sauce on it was good. Only thing I would change next time would be mayonnaise on it. If you want something different to eat, go here.
