When was the last time you ate fast food on a real plate with real silverware? That's what I thought! You do here! If you like fried chicken you gotta check out Pollo Campero! I ordered the 4 piece w/2 sides. I was given a table number and asked to find a table and my food would be brought to me. Aida arrived with my food piping hot. She was friendly, hospitable and genuine. My food was excellent. Aida came back to check on me occasionally, each time was a pleasant surprise; she made me feel as if I were a member of her family and I was sitting at her table at her home. I do not recall ever feeling as at home in a fast food joint as I did here. The food was great. Aida was even better. The whole experience was positive and memorable

There's nothing timid about our chicken... or our meatloaf... or our hand cut hickory grilled sizzling steaks, line caught Ahi tuna or cornbread baked in a skillet and fired up by fresh jalapeno and Serrano peppers. This is full flavored American cuisine,
This place is way over rated. There are so many other options near here that have outstanding food for a more reasonable price.Great place to go if you are trying to make a good impression with a high end feel /white linen, but keep food expectations lowThank you for taking the time to leave a review. We are always looking to improve and are sorry to see that we missed the mark with you this time. We hope you'll give us another chance soon. In either case, we appreciate the feedback.

Our modern Kensington American restaurant draws inspiration from world travels, offering riffs on comfort favorites like steak frites and fish tacos, along with brunch, homemade desserts, cocktails and whiskeys by the "dram." We also cater in our âAbsinth
Stopped in here with a friend. It's a small restaurant tucked in a tiny strip mall. The food was ok, nothing special but no problems, and the service was fairly quick. When I was leaving the area, I realized that Dish & Dram appears to be the only restaurant in this part of Kensington. That must explain the rave reviews, when you're the only show in town, it's easy to be rated the best.

Parkway Deli is a classic. I had a crab cake sandwich and was disappointed with the amount of filler it had. I expected better. On a more positive note, my friend tried an Impossible Burger and really liked it.Hi, Thanks for your feedback. We will improve on our crabcakes and cut back on the filler.

It has been here forever and tends to attract an older crowd, which also means that it's relatively quiet. Service was quite good--not rushed and plenty of time to talk. The seafood dishes were very good--scallops, shrimp and combination with lobster--and all entrees come with a small salad. Chocolate mousse was rich, creamy and delicious. BE AWARE--the discount coupon is now in the Thursday Post Living Local section, not the Friday Weekend section. Great compromise for meeting with friends from Columbia or Baltimore.

I love Nick's! I suggest any dish for breakfast comes with fried potatoes, or sausage gravy over the fried potatoes. The potatoes are life-changing. The food isn't fancy, but it's definitely diner, and delicious diner food. I've eaten several of the omelets and other egg dishes, all good! I've never ordered the pancakes, but my dining companions have, and the 'cakes are thumbs up. I've had the scrapple, just like my grandmother's.

My husband and I visited the DC area in early January, and tried this restaurant for the first time. We had a delicious lunch and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. There were 4 in our group. Two of us had a vegetarian lunch and two of us were carnivores. All four of us agreed the food was excellent, and reasonably priced. The ambiance is lovely, as the restaurant is located in a Victorian-style house in a residential neighborhood. There is a railroad track next to the house, and while we were eating a train went zooming past. This only happened once and, rather than being an annoyance, it just added to the unique vibe of the place. We were impressed by the level of service. The wait staff refilled my water glass several times without my having to ask. Terrific spot, highly recommended.

Traditional Irish pub
Even before ordering the food, I chose a beer. My eye was drawn to 7 Locks-Surrender Dorothy IPA. The quite-a-bit-younger person in charge of the table explained that back in the 70s, someone had painted âSurrender Dorothyâ on an overpass on the Beltway near Silver Spring that crossed a view of the Mormon Temple in Kensington, MD. Wow! I remembered that so well that I had to try it. It did not disappoint. It was crisp and forthright. A very good pairing with the pub food. As for the food, we all shared two fabulous appetizers: the crispy buttermilk calamari and the Limerick mussels. The latter upped the taste with bits of bacon in the sauce. For the main course, the beef stew was hearty, but not overwhelming, served in this case with freshly mashed potatoes. The standard fish and chips dish was good: the fish better than the somewhat limp chips. The dipping sauces were just okay. The staff was very good, and the atmosphere as expected.
