When our adult children come to visit from out-of-town, Sammie's is now their go-to place to eat. Their favorite sandwich is The Americana. There was a sandwich that was a seasonal thing around Christmas, some type of ribeye steak sandwich. It was my absolutely favorite sandwich ever. Sad to see it leave after the holidays. The salads are wonderful too. It's a little pricey for a large family, so it's a special occasion when we get to go there.

We went to Higher ground for an afternoon coffee break. There is outside seating but it was too hot the day we went. Lacey our barista did a fabulous job making a breve Misto, an Americano and a hazelnut latte. They also had a great selection of sweets and ice cream. The price is better than right. Our favorite place for coffee when visiting Martin.

I have been to this location several times. It is clean with loads of selections to choose from. There is a enormous amount of toppings to choose from as well as a constant rotation of many flavors of frozen yogurt. However, as yummy as it is...it comes with a price. Expect to pay for a family of four at least 25 to 35 dollars for 4 full cups of yogurt (It is measured by weight)
Overall, a delish stop for a special occasion, not everyday.

Family Style Restaurant open from 6am - 9 pm seven days a week. Speciallizing in Country Cooking. Have a Salad bar, Buffet, Full Menu for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner along with homemade rolls and homemade desserts. Winner of Best Catfish. Best Fried Chicken, Best Buffet, Best Desserts and Best Coffee.
The Hearth is always a good choice in Martin. The rolls and cornbread are always fresh and delicious. The catfish on the buffet is my husband's favorite. Plus we love Doug's Smothered chicken, desserts do loaded fries, soups, grilled cheeses, hamburger steaks, cheeseburgers, and more! The food quality is always fresh and the owners truly want to see the customers pleased when you leave. It's an older place but that doesn't affect the food or the service. Glad to have a place like the Hearth in Martin, TN!

Quick service and the ice cream is fresh and delicious! They have lots of flavors to choose from. However, we were disappointed this month when we made several visits to get an advertised, special flavor for the month and they never had it.

This Dairy Queen location (if you can call it that) is one word - Pathetic!
This location is small and has not updated an ounce since the 1980's. They do NOT have any of the advertised specials or deals that are constantly broadcasted on Television. They do not have the same prices (much higher) as other Dairy Queen locations.
I do not know how they are able to keep their franchise licensing, because they do not hold to the same standards and practices as other Dairy Queen locations.
Their food is pathetic as well. They do not have the same portion sizes as other Dairy Queen locations, nor is it cooked the same.
Point Blank: This is a IMPOSTOR, trying to pose itself as a true Dairy Queen location.

A fun bar and grill that specializes in burgers and Mac n cheese, crazy over the top milkshakes as well as spiked milkshakes for adults and lots of other selections!
My friends and I had a late lunch while working in town. It is a nice restaurant with a full service bar. Service was on point and extraordinary. Lauren was great with us first-timers. She went over the best sellers and made recommendations on her favorites...which we went with them all. We had the deviled eggs and mac n cheese balls. The favors went well. Both matched savory with sweet. Entrees included the Nashville Hot chicken sandwich with homemade onions rings, the breakfast burger with hand cut fries and the No 12 burger with tator tots. All sandwichs had top notch favors and hit the spot. I loved the onion rings!!!! I really wanted to try the Over the top Milkshakes but I did not have enough room in my belly. You got to check them out! Enough for the whole table to share. I will be back to try them. This place is pretty packed during peak hours and weekends so get there early. I hear there can be upward to 3 hour wait times. I recommend this restaurant for the whole family.

My husband and I stopped on a Sunday for lunch as we were traveling through Martin. We were pleasantly surprised with this restaurant. The wait staff were cordial and on top of their game. The salsa was quite good, just the right hint of heat, very fresh. We both ordered Fajitas, he the mix of chicken and beef and myself the shrimp. Both were perfectly prepared and wonderful flavor. I am not big on re-fried beans but theirs had good flavor. The restaurant is nicely appointed with lots of space and separate bar area. They have a good variety on the menu. We will return when in the area.

Service is wildly unpredictable. Quality of the food is almost as bad. The manager/owner recently lost or forced out several of her waitstaff, so the quality of your experience will suffer.

Family and I went there the 23rd of December. 4 adults and 1 child. I always get Fajitas. Really good. I would really recommend this restaurant. Not really spicy.
