The mARTigny boutique hotel is a modern and design concept, which opened the 1st of October 2015, 3 minutes away from the train station. With 52 rooms, it delivers very high quality services. It is also a pioneer in social integration, since a part of our co-workers have mental disabilities. An excellent restaurant with local and peruvian gastronomy and a wine bar complete our successfull concept.
Spotlessly clean, good service, nice restaurant, good price. The location at night is a bit strange, but when daylight comes you see how the town works: mostly new buildings in the valley around the station.

Pi Hotels SA took over the Forclaz-Touring hotel on the 1st of February 2018, with the aim to continue the hotel business under the "CAMPANILE" franchise. The first hotel in Switzerland of this 3-star brand, part of the international group LOUVRE HOTELS which represents more than 4000 hotels worldwide! In order to meet the requirements of this renowned hotel chain and guarantee the quality of the services, major renovations along with modernization works will be undertaken during the year 2018. They will concern all bedrooms, bathrooms, common areas such as restaurant, lobby, and reception. The hotel remains open during the renovations. The hotel is located in the hearth of Martigny, right next to well-known skiing areas such as Crans Montana, Verbier -4 Valleys, Super Saint Bernard, Portes du Soleil, Salvan-Les Marécottes along with the Villars-Gryon ski area and the Glacier Les Diablerets in Vaud Township. All the members of the staff are looking forward welcoming you!
We spent two nights at this hotel. It’s convenient to walk to the train, castle and the city center. We didn’t have breakfast or use any amenities. We did enjoy walking along the river in the morning and eating Italian food just past the covered bridge. I hope my review has helped you make a hotel choice.

Stayed at this hotel as we made a last minute switch from skiing in France to Switzerland over New Years - the hotel itself is a good quality business type hotel with modern comfortable rooms...everything you would expect. Breakfast was good, you can park right outside and it is only a 15 minute pleasant walk to the center of Martigny, a nice town, albeit without anything spectacular to offer and v quiet at night. Skiing wise, it is a 20 minute drive to the lift at Le Chable at the bottom of the valley (free easy parking) which takes you straight into the 4 valleys ski area) Only problem is I had my wallet stolen from my room, I did not report to police as was on holiday and didn't have time, we must have left the safe open or my wallet on the side, did not ever take it out the room and am certain it was taken. No major loss, cancelled the cards, lost around €200 in cash and a nice leather wallet... but watch out!! Use the safe or take things out with you.

Welcome to a familial and charming hotel-restaurant, managed by two professional owners. Ideally situated crossroads between France and Italy, this hotel is nearby the worldwide known Fondation Pierre Gianadda Museum. 20-30 minutes drive from the famous skistations of Verbier and Marécottes, Hotel-restaurant du Stand is the place to stay in Valais whether you are in Martigny for business, tourism or sportive purposes. The Restaurant served traditional and minute made food in a cozy and warm atmosphere. The owners will be happy to share with you information about the region.
Stayed for 9 nights in two different rooms; first room 231 was a quiet single accommodation with private bathroom and second 351 a rooftop single room with shared bathroom. Having rented on “high season” during the Valais Exposition, prices are 3 times higher than usually (150 per room) and so you would be tempted to value the quality-rate factor differently. It is an ok place for being a 2 stars though you may appreciate a bit more cleanliness in the rooms, the only issue I have been concerned. Dust/spiderwebs/ bathrooms would need more attention and some lights aren’t working in the room. Sheets were clean and room regularly checked, and although walls and doors are thin and your nightrest depends on tour neighbors, the location is quiet even during the wildest party time outside:) The staff is very kind, polite and helpful, and the all year around rates are honest. Free parking and bar inside. Dormitory available. Rates on Agoda better than directly with the hotel. I would recommend.

We had the room in the photo, with a lovely sitting area, very light with big windows onto a small balcony, onsuite bathroom and small adequate kitchette. Our stay was complicated, but the hosts were so helpful and accommodating. I can't recommend them enough. Thank you.

Unpretentious, basic hotel that I give four stars because it’s probably pretty good in its sector. Comparatively inexpensive, ideally located for walkers (near station, right next to hiking shop and chemist), fabulous shower, and very helpful staff. I slept well. The breakfast was modest but ticked all my boxes. I would be happy to stay here again.

We had a lovely quiet room. Good lighting, easy to move around in. Bathtub Great location, close to the Roman ruins, great dining, etc. Very helpful desk clerk directed us to an excellent car museum and outdoor sculpture display...Philippe something....is the name of the place. Ask her, it’s excellent. I’m Terrible with names! Breakfast is a decent buffet in a nice room. I would stay here again.

The Hotel La Porte d’Octodure*** is a convivial hotel with a warm atmosphere for your private and professional stays.Situated 2 kilometres from the city-centre of Martigny, our hotel is the perfect starting point for excursions in Valais, to France and to Italy.
We were "Déçus en bien" with the hotel. We were expecting a simple 3 star hotel with banal rooms, service and lunch and we had beatifull rooms, excellent service and high class lunch. The hotel rooms were very big (we had a double room, with 2 bedrooms at an excellent price), the restaurant was exceptional and the hotel was close to all the best places to visit.

I made last-minute reservations here, chosen primarily on cost. We were checked in quickly and efficiently, and our room (while small) was clean and modern. The location was good for us (we did not arrive by train, so I cannot easily confirm how close it is to the station). It was close enough, however, to the town center and many restaurant choices.
