Great little bakery and deli. Sandwiches made to order with various sides and a drink under $10. Di has any meat you can think of...turkey, ham, salami, chicken etc. Also, she has daily specials like huge tenderloins and ask about a horse-shoe (you'll love it and be full when you leave). Grab a brownie if any are left - they go pretty quickly cuz they are decadent.

Daily specials, pub food, pizza, chicken, ribs, burgers
een here a few times. Love the new remodel! So much more spacious and brighter.
We ordered the fried chicken and a blt with soup and salad bar. The chicken was delicious, enough for two meals. Both came with a generous portion of fries. The salad bar was small but adequate. There was clam chowder and a minestrone type soup. We had the clam chowder and it was great.
Our waitress was Brooke. She was smiley, professional, attentive and the best we have had in the area.
They have five slots in the front. Overall a great night out. We will definitely return.

The roads from Chicago to Seneca are great for motorcycling! And I just discovered that HH is another great excuse to ride. Beautiful location on the Illinois River and very friendly service on a Sunday afternoon. Their famous pork tenderloin sandwich was excellent! My fiancé raved about the fish & chips. We'll be back for sure.

Really enjoyed their ice cream selection and homemade waffle cones, you could smell them cooking from the street. Friendly service, nice people.

We made dinner reservations at Lone Buffalo when wanting to check out Ottawa & eat here during our winter visit to Starved Rock. Due to an incoming snow storm we had to move our dinner earlier than we had planned. The location, parking and decor were all great as we ventured into the restaurant. Kendra as our server was friendly, knowledgeable & efficient. My husband had a glass of wine and we split the margarita flatbread, which was well seasoned. We went for healthy options. My husband enjoyed his ancient grains salad with small shrimp, while I really loved the kale salad with salmon. Since it was an early & rushed dinner with the snowstorm, we plan to return on our next trip to Starved Rock & Ottawa to try the beers and entrees. Looking forward to that in the future.
Definitely recommend.

We were on our way along the I&M bike trail when we stopped here for lunch. It's a small restaurant with friendly and efficient service. The menu is basic, nothing fancy, with huge portions. We ordered a taco salad, which has spicy meat and a warm, crispy shell, and a hoagie, which is not what you'd think of since it is not the traditional hoagie of the sub sandwich variety. Instead, it was a long seasoned warm meat patty on a hoagie bun. Hubby was expecting a sub sandwich, but said the sandwich he received was tasty. His order included a ham and potato soup, which I sampled. It was delicious! If you are in Seneca, select this diner to eat at. It is like a decorating trip back in time (which we liked), good service and good food.

Great spot in downtown Ottawa, about a block off the main drag. Very modern and hip. Seated right away despite the crowd.
The menu is quite unusual, so you have to be prepared. BASH = Burger and Sushi House. Great appetizers, but could have been a bit bigger. Sushi on the expensive side... we all enjoyed our meals.
Sushi selection good, but the rest of the menu is a bit limited. Nevertheless, love it!

Big portions, Italian beef, my favorite with jardinera and juicy. I'm not into the provolone cheese, you might be? Place is crowded at lunch, lots of locals. Fries are great, chili cheese dogs were the special that day. Look for the "Specials" sign by the register. Everything is hot and fresh. The have pizza by the slice, too. I stop here everytime I'm working in the area. I'm almost a regular.

When camping at Illini State Park there is one thing that is always a FOR SURE. Each day a visit to C P's Ice Cream. Great to have it available when you want a special treat in Marseilles.

Family Restaurant, Breakfast-Lunch-Dinner
We came over here for a Sunday lunch between the breakfast and lunch rushes so we sat down immediately. Our server was friendly and professional. We were delighted to find that there are still places that offer soup with the sandwich. We ordered the pork tenderloin hot sandwich, which was perfectly seasoned with a nice peppery gravy, and the reuben, which had chunky and tasty corned beef. Both of our soups were good as well. We had a nice experience and found the prices extremely reasonable. We will definitely eat here again.
