Reviews on African food in Marrakech, Marrakech-Tensift-El Haouz Region, Morocco. The “Red City” of Marrakesh is a magical place, brimming with markets, gardens, palaces, and mosques. Exploring the intimate courtyards and snaking alleyways of the historic Medina can easily eat up a day. Find inner peace at the serene Jardin Majorelle or take in the beauty of one of the city’s historic mosques (taking note that, unless you are Muslim, you are not allowed to enter).

D'ar Chef Restaurant is getting prepared and will soon be ready to welcome you for an exotic and relaxing trip! A traditional Moroccan decoration, a lighting with wonderful colors that will give you a warm oriental ambiance!
The setting is very welcoming, as the cooking class takes place in a traditional local Moroccan house. The hosts are very friendly, we went to buy the food fresh from the local market, and we cooked the meal with the hosts. They also shared some other Moroccan recipes for us to try at home. When we mentioned that we wanted to buy a tajine they offered to buy one for us. A highly recommended experience.Very friendly!!Great foodTHANK YOU Abdelfettah

Wow. We went here on our first night in Marrakesh, and were first stunned by the beautiful building itself. The attention to detail and authenticity is amazing. Our food was delicious - a five course traditional Moroccan meal, complemented by fantastic service from friendly servers. We recommend checking out the expansive rooftop if you can, and explore the hotel because each room is more beautiful than the next! On our next trip, we will certainly stay in the hotel too!

Dear Customers, We inform you that the Restaurant Dar Zellij will be closed from July 2nd, 2019 to July 30th, 2019. We will be pleased to welcome you back starting from Wednesday July 31th, 2019. Happy holidays
We had a group of 10 (4 adults, 6 children) at Dar Zellij for dinner. It was a phenomenal experience! We started with drinks on the terrace. The views of the sunset over the Medina were excellent. The cocktails were mixed just right and the drink menu had many excellent choices. We like it so much that we went back the next night just for drinks! Our dinner table was in the adjacent terrace under the tent. The glass of red wine off the dinner menu was the best I had in our time in Morocco. Since we weren't overly hungry my husband and I split the chicken pastilla starter (delicious!) and the beef tagine (very delicious!). The kids had chicken couscous and chicken and fries. They said the chicken was the best they've ever tasted. Overall this was probably our favorite meal during the trip. The wait staff are attentive and very friendly. And as a bonus, our Riad was only a 2 minute walk away. Very highly recommended!Dear Guest,Thank you very much for your kind words. We are really glad you had a pleasant experience and weâre sure that our entire staff enjoyed catering to your needs as much as you enjoyed your dinner with us,we hope to see you again at Dar Zellij very soon.Best Regards,

Our terrace restaurant is open in the evenings from 6pm until 10.30pm. We are serving Morrocan food with some daily specials using fresh in-season ingredients. Come and see us, eat some delicious food and listen to a Moroccan musician playing the oud from
My husband and stayed at the Dar Anika Riad and wandered up to the roof top for dinner. WOW- we were so impressed from the moment we were greeted by the manager Charbel to his very attentive staff to the very romantic setting to the fabulously delicious food and wine. No detail was overlooked. Because Dar Anika is small it is very intimate and you find yourself talking to other guests. Almost like entertaining at home. We went back a second night as we enjoyed ourselves so much. Highly recommend a visit for dinner. We thank you sincerely for sharing your experience of our riad and our restaurant. Marrakesh already has a mysterious, romantic notion attached to it so we just capitalise on that. We have views on the upper terrace, music on the floor below and friendly and careful staff. The weather is perfect at the moment - 30 degrees during the day and a little cooler in the evenings. Most of our guests are fellow travellers so it is nice to see them sharing ideas and advising on the best places to go to visit. We hope just to provide the best atmosphere to make friendliness and camaraderie easy. Thank you so much for choosing Riad Dar Anika for your stay in Marrakesh. All the team at Dar Anika Kitchen

This place is temporarily closed. The Amal Women's Training Center and Moroccan Restaurant is a non-profit association dedicated to empowering disadvantaged women via training in traditional and modern cuisine. The ultimate goal is personal transformation
Good effort. Appreciate the concept. The staff was prompt and efficient. The chief hostess was efficient but unhappy looking. The avocado gazpacho was unique and refreshing until you bit into the almond slivers running through it. They were rancid, leaving an unpleasant taste in the mouth. The beef and vegetable wok fry, served on Moroccan rice was well flavoured and a good portion. Customers at the nearby table returned their mozzarella stick salad without eating most of the mozzarella and another table returned their wrap more than half uneaten? Thank you Aspi for your comment. Opinions like yours help us to improve. We will take all this in consideration.Just to clear one thing concerning the mozzarella salad and the wrap, they were big portions, and the customers wanted to taste our other plates, that's why they left some room for it ;)Hoping to receive you again.

We came for a dinner and had chicken couscous and hamburger. Couscous was fabulous! Definitely the best we have tried during our stay in Marrakech. Hamburger was just correct. I recommend to eat something more typical cause they really have amazing maroccan dishes. Overall it was great experience. (we came back next day for a lunch;))

Le Trou au Mur brings a breath of fresh air to the Marrakech restaurant scene. Chic, laid back, fun, relaxed, intimate and comfortable but, above all, totally serious about food. Set in a small riad in the oldest part of the medina, the décor is a unique
Beautiful rooftop terrace, superb food and excellent service. Sent here by our innkeeper . A peaceful haven in a hectic city .

Its a great concept for Marrakech escape the madness of the market and the city for the day. Similar arrangment to the beach clubs of Marbella but more sedate and quite elegant. Very relaxing. Bit off the beaten track but an oasis when you get there. Great customer service. Relaxing, unhurried lunch and drinks. Then laze by the pool.
