We spent two nights in this lodge. The view from the lodge is stunning. Andrea is a nice host and very helpful. The ECO Tour recommended by Andrea was really interesting and gave a good insight into NZ conservation projects .

What a lovely stay we had at Tawny Hills. On the last night of our South Island holiday it provided us with both comfort and quality. Gerrie and Bruce are wonderful hosts - they have thought of everything a traveller may need and added a few touches that make it feel like home. A super comfortable bed with cosy bedding, fluffy towels, delicious smelling toiletries, fresh flowers and all we needed for a cuppa and a snack. The room and ensuite were both spotless. Breakfast was a highlight with homemade treats and great conversation with our hosts. Thanks so much!

Friendly welcome, however security on windows was missing with having broken latches. Dated but clean and tidy. Would have given a slightly higher rating if security was better. Close to Picton shopping centre. Close to Ferry Terminals.

Thank you Cork and Keg! Your pub is wonderfully authentic, the food excellent. (Best burger I've had in a long time). Beer delicious. Best part: bed was only a 50ft walk away. Room excellent, bed so comfortable, spacious bathroom. This is a GREAT place to stay when in the area.

Very nice comfortable place to stay in a small historic town. Everything in walking distance. Self contained and very clean. Good location. Our hosts were friendly and very helpful. Ligita suggested a walk through the cemetery to a bird feeding and nesting area and wetlands. The age of the cemetery alone was very interesting.

We stayed in the comfortable "Boatshed" for two nights, with amazing waterfront views nestled in Ngakuta Bay. This establishment embraces the true meaning of a quaint waterfront B&B. The room has a small self contained bathroom and sitting area which overlooks the bay. On entry everything was perfect and clean. The property truly is part of the private family residence, with all sorts of water sport equipment lying around. The drive to this property is decentralized from Picton and is not for the faint hearted, The drive (8.5km) winds it's way through the lush forest landscapes of the Marlborough Sounds. There are plenty of options to stop off along the way for a photo opportunity. Vicki is a very friendly host and we enjoyed the company of her two dogs. Our only disappointment and NO FAULT of this B&B was the breakfast option was only a full cooked breakfast ( which my partner thoroughly enjoyed) and no TV. Awesome Location.
