Easily the finest restaurant in Fazana, Location and the view on Brijuni national park is amazing. This restaurant has been consistently good for some years, and recently has gotten even better. The food was absolutely wonderful, from preparation to presentation, very pleasing. All the products were fresh and the dishes had the warmth of home-made food. The chefs takes great care in selecting the best quality ingredients

We arrived on spec for a late lunch, and were quickly seated in an airy room over-looking a lovely garden. My youngest son took advantage of the small children's playground and there was a swimming pool, for those staying at the hotel of which the restaurant is part.
However, this was about as unlike a hotel dining room as one could wish for. There was an open fire for grilling meat and fish, and the table linen, glasses and cutlery were the most elegant of any that we had seen in our week in Istria.
My wife ordered lamb, which was excellent, while I took pasta with pancetta and rucola which was very good, although a trifle over-salted for my taste. However, we've found that much of the food in Istria was on the saltier side of salty. My kids also took pasta, but the taste was a little too exotic for their innocent palates.
Sadly there was nothing on the dessert menu to satisfy their wishes so we cut short what would have otherwise been a lengthier final meal in Croatia, before we headed off to the airport.
Alla Beccaccia was recommended by a local, and it deserves its high repute. The service was good, discreet and friendly; the food prepared with excellent ingredients and I wish we'd come here for dinner to sample a wider range of its delights, including the wine list.

The place is close to the Arena and it is a typical croatian grill, when you can enjoy their local meat, such cevapcici or pljeskavica. Most of them served with fries and a special bread which actually seems a focaccia.
The dishes are hearty and the meat is good. The staff is kind and the bill is really cheap.
Not for aristocratic palates.

This restaurant was recommended to us by the owner of our holiday villa. It is very big with a huge outside Terrace overlooking the sportsgrounds. I wouldn't say it was cosy, rather more functional, but the pizzas a amazing. Light and fluffy dough, crispy and well topped. Pasta was ok, nothing special but good average. It was busy on a weekday evening and filled with locals. Always a good sign. Prices very reasonable and friendly and efficient service. Would definitely go back.

The restaurant is located in Prodol, about halfway from Labin to Pula, but is much more than just a rest stop on the side of the road. They have a rather various menu, listing from home made Istrian food to pizzas, and I've tried many different meals over the year and still don't have a single complaint.
The staff is really nice and helpfull, but most of all ready to answer any enquiery one might have.
And the most important thing - to get the full atmosphere you shouldn't sit on the Terrace that's in front of the restaurant but in the garden that's on the side of the building. There are just four tables there but if you're lucky you'll find a great spot.

We had dinner in this beautiful courtyard. I don't know which was better: the atmosphere of the courtyard or a homemade food. There is an extensive menu. My husband grilled lamb chops with white truffle sauce and I the Turkey with wild asparagus and truffle sauce. We had fries and grilled vegetables on the side for a delightful combination. House wine was a good choice as was a wild asparagus and cheese starter. My husband had a warmed apple strudel with ice cream. All well served and delicious. Charmed by this courtyard.

I visited the restaurant twice in last ten days and both times my family was very satisfied with food and service. The restaurant is situated in Loborika, about twenty kilometers from Pula in the direction toward Rijeka with a huge parking (partly in shade) and very nice Terrace. The owners are famous for the production of home made cheese and diary products, which is very nicely incorporated in the menu. The food is very good, fresh and tasty, the portions are very generous and the price is very reasonable. The service is friendly, helpful and efficient.

We have eaten here lots of times over the years and visit here at least once a month.
It's good to eat here out of season as in the summer the standard suffers, and being a regular it shows, portions are smaller and presentation slacks as the kitchen struggles.
The staff are very nice and friendly, always wanting to have a little chat.
They change the menu regularly and are willing to try different food and concepts.
