Herbies is the oldest operating restaurant in the Heart of the Florida Keys! Having been established in the late 1940's under the name Maggie's Chowder House, it has become a landmark restaurant and continued local favorite. While the restaurant is well e
Stopped here for lunch with my husband. We had the conch chowder, organic greens salad, and local shrimp. All were very good and the house made raspberry vinaigrette is really good. I would definitely eat here again and highly recommend it.

We always stop for lunch while visiting KCB. I always get the lunch size seafood italiano. It is amazing and loaded with seafood. Husband got the $10 ribeye...yes $10 off the special menu. It came with veggies and mashed potatoes. We left stuffed with two boxes. Great staff & clean bathrooms.

Fantastic seafood! My husband had the Bavarian fish sandwich he said it was great! I had the Catch of the Day which was Mahi-Mahi. It was awesome! The coleslaw and potato salad was also good. But top it off with some Keylime pie which was out of this world! We will return.

Perfect place to have a girl trip. The restaurant location is great. We sat out every night for our half price drinks and appetizers. Love the sea view, the light house, the open bar, the staff are very friendly. Mike the bartender was exceptional. Great drinks, great food and perfect night every night. Definitely in my agenda to go back.

We found his restaurant a bit by accident and we are so glad we did. The service was amazing. Quick, nearby, but not hovering. They used recyclable, sustainable, eco friendly utensils. My husband had the tuna sandwich. It was massive. I had the shrimp burger and it was so good. No filler. But the fries and atmosphere were the best. Good view, friendly people, and delicious food!

This is a casual family run restaurant that started out as a seafood market. They still have the market in the front and have added booth seating in the restaurant. Yellow rice and shrimp or fish is great and a large portion. The whole fried snapper is delish. Comes with coleslaw and plantains. Good home made desserts also.

The original definition of a restaurant used to be: owners cooking for their guests and extending the personal touch to their time at the joint, serving great food, wines, beers and having personal conversations, time allowing. That's why they come back!
There were 6 of us, had a variety of appetizers and entrees. Favorite appetizer is the Drunken Olives - basically vodka with a bunch of yummy pimento stuffed olives. Favorite entree: crispy duck. Perfectly cooked in an orange glaze, served with homemade mashed potatoes and a vegetable medley - great. We had absolutely no room for dessert, so no comments on that. Service was a bit slow, (they had a power outage that knocked their computers out), but regardless it was worth the wait.

Wonderful dining experience. Food was amazing. I had the special, the seafood bake. It was not overdone with breadcrumbs. Light and I could taste the seafood. Grouper, scallops and shrimp. All my favorites. Came with mashed potatoes and asparagus. Husband had the Cuban pork chop, which he also loved. Rosemary bread along with Asiago bread with butter was served before our meal. Full bar. Service was attentive. No cons.

We typically do all our dining in Islamorada. However, we ventured down to Marathon to try a new to us place.I had some of the best Prime Rib and my wife had the lobster special.Place was busy and but the staff took good care and attention to all the guests.I would recommend this place. They have a extensive menu. I did see sushi and a raw bar. Good food at a fair price.

We are from the Midwest and had no intention of eating BBQ while on vacation, but this place came recommended and menu we saw had plenty of fish options which is what we were looking for. Music was nice, if not a bit loud. The tables were all talking loud to talk over music, so in general it was noisy. We ordered fish tacos and then seeing a couple very interesting options on the sushi menu decided to order the BBQ pork roll. Definitely not disappointed at all! There were 10 pieces and the flavors were great in the roll. The fish tacos and sides were also very good. In general the place had a fun vibe, food was good!Thank you for taking the time to write a review. We try to have a variety of meals on the menu.Glad we had meals you enjoyed. We always try to keep The old keys atmosphere .Hope you make it down this way soon.Porkyâs team
