An owner operated deli in historic downtown Manteo. Great deli style sandwiches on baked to order rolls. Fresh cut salads, homemade dressings, house made side dishes and soups. Ice cream and desserts available also. Eat in or takeout. Outside seating is available, pets welcome there.
We stopped for lunch on a recommendation from a shop nearby and it was right on target.
The Turkey reuben on marbled rye was excellent. One of my daughters gave the cheesy grill cheese 5 stars. The Turkey and cheddar club was excellent and the chipotle chicken on lettuce was fantastic. My wife had that since she is on a gluten free diet.
The fellow who took our order was enthusiastic and helpful with suggestions.
They make their own bread and every kind we had was great.

Nice little ice cream shop/ fast food place. We didn't order any hot food but they had burgers and hot dogs. All of the ice cream they serve is Hershey's. Service was fast and friendly. Take your ice cream outside to one of the many chairs or picnic tables. Bathroom is outside around the back.

Community Coffeehouse and Bakery. Locally roasted coffee (at our Nags Head location). Also serving wine and local craft beers both in store and retail. Free high speed internet, plug in available. Open everyday year around.
The barista didn't treat me like an idiot for not knowing how to pronounce "cafe au lait". The service was excellent and they have a unique assortment of pastries. The dining area is clean and relaxing. If you're in the area, it's perfect for breakfast.

We stopped here for the usual coffee and bagels on a morning trip to the store. While visiting, I couldnt help but note the unique appearance and quality of this site in comparison to the hundreds of DDs I have stopped at while traveling.
Not only it this a DD with a beautiful appearance, the staff is friendly and quick. This DD should be an example for other Dunkin Donuts, as well as other fast food related establishments.

Nothing remarkable about the ice cream or menu, it's rather average menu. Typical ice cream and candy. However the location the setting set the place apart. Second floor outside seating in downtown Manteo absolutely beautiful. Must stop n relax and cook off.

The barista was so friendly, and they allow pets inside. We were just taking a quick walk around the waterfront right there and happened to see a cool little coffee shop. The coffee was good! Cool area to walk around and hang out for a few!
