Part Of A Chain
We really enjoy this restaurant. The atmosphere is fun, and the cabbage salsa is delish. Everything weve had there over the last 18 years has been very good. Ive also eaten at other El Jardin restaurants in Oakdale and Modesto Ca. They are all good.

I had the rack of lamb. Very good. Prawns appetizer was good. Cooked perfect, seasoned well and tender. Wedge salad was great. Two with me had ribeyes and said they were cooked perfectly and very good. The Caesar salad was a favorite of the table as well. Drinks were good. Price was high but expected as this was fine dining. The outside left you wondering what was inside but it is a diamond in the rough.

I been there in 2 different locations and it was incredible. Lots of people in line but the line moved fast and service was very friendly. The food was delicious and the portions were good as well.

a friend recommended this restaurant as a Mexican/Cuban fusion restaurant. The problem was they DID NOT tell us that literally "Everything" on the Menu is so spicy Hot I couldn't eat. Yet, I was charged for something I couldn't eat, after the waitress said, next time, we can make your food not as spicy. They should have taken it back, if that was the case, and redone it. and the "potato skins" were "Not" potato skins, but spicy French fries.
The waitresses were very nice and tried accommodating us, despite the problems

Stopped in here for lunch based on the recommendation of family members who told us it was the best Mexican restaurant in town.
First, the positive. Service was prompt and courteous. It was busy, but we were greeted and seated right away. Our drink order was taken and delivered quickly.
We split the fiesta taquitos as a starter; way overcooked and quite dry. The courtesy chips were hard and sort of stale, like they'd been sitting out all day
My wife ordered the fajita salad, and wondered why they used the word, "fajita" to describe it, since it was more like a plain grilled chicken salad. She said there was no fajita seasoning on the chicken or anywhere in the salad. She also was surprised to find there were no cooked onions or peppers, either bell or Chile.
I ordered a torta. The roll was perfect and there was plenty of fresh lettuce, tomato, and avocado. Unfortunately, the sandwich was almost entirely lettuce, tomato, and avocado and only a few tiny pieces of meat. Maybe they were running out of carnitas and I got the few bits that were left.

The restaurant has an extensive men, pizza, salad, streaks, fish and desert. Easy to find something to order. Service reasonably quick and food potions good. The atmosphere is quiet at lunch and the restaurant restrooms are clean and maintained. A good place for a quick lunch

Perfect stop off between Yosemite and San Francisco, as it's pretty much mid-point.
This place offers a range of different breakfast, lunch and dinner options.
The Grizz breakfast is incredible. Huge portion and good quality, just what you need! Pancakes light and fluffy, eggs cooked to perfection.
Service is spot on too, the waitresses couldn't do more to make your stay more pleasant.

My friend and I were sat in the booths in the bar area which I think was a mistake. There wasn't a server for our table and we got server by the bartender. This normally would be fine, but the bartender got busy making drinks and when we got our food fries were barely warm. The burger was very good and thankfully at Red Robin you get endless fries so we ordered more which were hot and so much better than the first order.
Next I would probably try for sitting somewhere other than the bar side unless I want to drink.

We were passing through on our way to Yosemite & stopped by for dinner. We were treated to a pleasant & memorable surprise.
The owner of this BBQ joint really spent the time & thoughts in creating the ultimate hillbilly theme restaurant- everything including the decor, the serve-ware, the restroom (omg!!), even the bill are devoted to the way of hillbilly. It is definitely not afraid of being politically correct- there is a undertone of southern pride but soon dispelled by the attentive wait staff.
We are not big BBQ eaters or fans. So we got the combo plate to try out. The waitress was very patient in letting us sample their 10 different homemade BBQ sauces by pouring a little taster onto our spoon, one by one. It was the height of culinary culture & very interesting.
Another problem of being not big BBQ water is we didn't realize that combo plate is really for one person, not to share among 2+1, even though our waitress said it would be enough with the sides we chose. We wish we got more food.

Nice small place, no crowds, easy parking (in strip mall next to Dollar General), good food, average prices (comparable to other mexican restaurants in town).
