Reviewed By lorris644Looking for a cheap place to stay while visiting family. My hubs made the reservation so I don't know if he read the description of the place or was dazzled by the low price. Building looks nice on the outside and is near major highway with a decent selection of fast food joints and sit down restaurants nearby, as well as a porn store. Speaking of joints, the front lobby reeked of marijuana and the front desk person and his friends looked a little shady. We requested a non-smoking room but it and the hallway smelled like stale cigarettes. We went and bought air freshener that helped a little. Decor of room looked like the 70's but they were in the process of updating the carpets while we were there. Updated sprinkler system, but left holes in ceiling where old system was. No pool, 3 story building with no elevator that we could see, we were on first floor. Free breakfast in tiny lobby consisted of cold cereal, coffee and a waffle maker. Rooms do not have a microwave or a mini fridge which sucked for wanting to bring leftovers back to eat later. Place looked clean and cleaning staff was friendly. Beds were comfortable as ND TV worked. Cheap place to stay.

Friendly staff if your friendly they keep out the riff raff. Your ok to stay here and expect your room to be cleaned ,all in all a decent place and not really dark and seedy if that’s what your into… lol plus the convenient store is nice to have. Can’t think of any other place in the area to stay considering.

Stayed here before but NOT again
Reviewed By Frank SFor background, we have stayed at Heritage Inn yearly for the last 4 or 5 years while attending the Indycar race at Mid-Ohio. We have always been satisfied with our stays...basic and nothing fancy but comfortable and clean. This year, upon entering the room we could hardly believe it. The room was a dump and stank horribly (I know it was a smoking room but this was over the top). The 2 chairs were filthy and one had a big hole in it. The carpet was stained with holes worn in it. In the bathroom, the toilet was broken at the bottom and was very unstable. Many burns in the counter and sink was disgusting. If the owner is going to let this place run down like this...we will stay elswhere in the future. Be sure to check the pics

Was in town for family thanksgiving and highly recommend this place if you’re passing by. It’s convenient, quiet and friendly.
