Despite having provided the backdrop to several Hollywood films, Mansfield manages to keep its all-American small town vibe. Its charming Main Street and Historic Carrousel District boast unique shops, galleries and an antique hand-carved carousel. The landmark Ohio State Reformatory has been the setting to several films, including The Shawshank Redemption and Air Force One. Mansfield's action-packed racing scene thrives at Mansfield Motorsports Park and the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course.

Authentic amazing Greek food. Tip: order the regular sized gyro unless you can eat a crazy amount of food. They are soooooo good. Hummus is some of the best you’ll ever have. Pitas too

This is a great coffee shop and bakery. The coffee is excellent. The cubano or the cappuccino is full of flavor and without the bitterness that comes from poorly roasted beans. No surprise, they roast the coffee here. The bread is hand made and includes whole grain as well as unbleached breads with rich crusts. The croissants are flaky and a bit on the salty side. The cheese popovers are to die for. The owner is often there and the employees are friendly and keen to please. Lot's of table and chairs and sofas of every shape, size, and config make this a local hangout. I never miss a chance to stop in when I am in Mansfield. It's a great place to work too when I am between appointments or meetings.

I love trying local bakery's so I had to try Blackbird when I visited the area.
More misses than hits..
Cinnamon roll and the coffee cake muffin both were delicious. The peach basil scone seemed to lack basil. Same on the Strawberry scone. The staff was super friendly and easy to talk with.

So many choices! Build your own combos, delicious sweet treats, and discounted "boxed" lunches from previous day to take back to work and heat up. Soups and sandwiches can't be beat for quick lunch.

This is a funny little place in downtown Mansfield. It almost looks like a small-town café but for the bar along one wall. Lots of wood & leather booths, two-top tables along the bar partition, and a few four-tops in the picture window.
The service is exceedingly friendly, and they'll gladly point out your dinner to other patrons if there's something special about it. And in my case, I ordered the special. It was a roasted acorn squash with sausage, onion strings, and melted gouda cheese, surrounded by a more-than-generous pond of sausage in some kind of marinara sauce. It came with a side salad (ordinary but plentiful) and a pretzel roll that was buttery and salty in a good way.
My only negative was that the squash was under-cooked, making it very difficult to slice off bites of it. I mentioned this to the staff, and the kitchen sent back word that this was a larger-than-usual squash. I think it just needed longer in the oven.
That being said, the tastes were great together, and there was way more food than I could have eaten even if the squash was spoon-ready. I left quite satisfied, to a chorus of questions and approvals from the other patrons (most everyone who comes in is a regular).
Drink prices are very low, selection is quite good for such a small place, and the service is like going to your aunt's house — attentive and inquisitive. I recommend checking this place out next time you are in Mansfield.

Its a nice scenic location.
Getting on top of the tower is limited. And it is way too costly.i didnt feel like going up.
You can always get good photos from the back side of the tower as not many people wander to this location.
Lots of shops on way. Always bargain. Prices are low at the starting and u could get a replica for 1 euro.

We love stopping at Skyway and eating at the bar. We both had seafood combination platters. The salad bar makes the visit worthwhile and the food is cooked to perfection! The bartender is pleasant and efficient. Great meal! Thanks for stopping and for taking the time to write such a nice review. Hope to see again, soon.

At Doc's, you can let your imagination run wild! Choose from over 100 fresh ingredients to design your own sandwich or salad. If you like your creation, you can give it a name and we can save your recipe. Then, every time you come back to visit, you can order your very own sandwich or salad again and again! We also serve 4 premium soups every day.
We have been working on a project in the area and able to walk here despite the heat. Being able to tweak the sandwich mainstays (though only one with roast beef) was great. This is the closest to a NY Deli in this area (without the fresh made bagels). Got take out both times so can't comment about table service. Would give 4.5 stars if possible.

I come to Mansfield on business twice a year. And I'm ALWAYS happy to eat at Saffron. It is one of my favorite restaurants, and I never miss an opportunity to eat here. The staff are friendly and helpful, the parking is close to the front door, the food is excellent with LOTS of choices and generous servings, and the price is so reasonable I can hardly stand it. If you still have room, try the rice pudding for dessert - delicate in flavor, but so delicious!!! I will be back.....
