We came to this modest establishment not expecting much, but had to review because the food is excellent! We had different types of noodles, fried dumplings and fried tofu. All good! Most of all, the prices are very affordable. Really good quality food for what we paid. The staffs were also friendly. My kids even got to partake in the making of the dumplings! We had a complete dining experience here and the kids enjoyed themselves. Thanks Mogok Daw Shan Noodles!

Buffet style, all-you-can-eat Burmese dishes. Plenty of vegetable options like lotus root, bamboo, Chinese spinach, bok choy. Has lots of meat also like fish, chicken, and pork. Upstairs has air conditioning. 6000 Ks for the meal and 2000 Ks for fresh juice or beer. Great if youâre hungry or want to try a little of everything. Then finish off by drawing a picture for their walls.

Our restaurant " A little bit of Mandalay" was born on 8th April, 2002. Opened the Tavern (Inn) in November 2013 with 24 Twin-bedded rooms. We never have had a chain-restaurant nor a franchise in any city (Bagan, Yangon, Inle etc.. ) In Myanmar. Both the
After a busy morning visiting the sights of Mandalay this restaurant provided a peaceful, calm oasis for a pleasant Burmese lunch. Vegetable tempura provided a tasty appetiser before simple mild pork and vegetable curries filled our hunger. The restaurant is spacious with a garden courtyard. Service was excellent. The menu was in clear English with a good choice of food. Thoroughly recommended.Thank you for your kind words and we are delighted to know that you enjoyed your lunch at our restaurant. We would love to welcome you again when you visit Mandalay in the future.

With 3 floors of restaurant space, this diner has enough dining space that matches their very large menu!On entry, the ground floor looks rather like it caters for the local community, the first floor has an air-conditioned dining room, and the top terrace is open air, where we chose to sit, on a very warm evening with an ice cold Myanmar beer. There are 2 menus to choose from, the BBQ menu and the Ala carte Asian menu.We opted for the Asian cuisine, that included a Rakhine-style clay pot.All portions were rather large for just the 2 of us, and this restaurant would therefore be perfect for a large group of people, allowing them to taste a large variety of dishes. The menu is made easier for the diner by dividing the selections into the different proteins offered, and there are photographs of every dish on offer. We thoroughly enjoyed their duck claypot, the basil chicken and the two-way style prawns. The prawns were large, tasty and super-fresh.The price of our meal was very reasonable for the type and amount of food we received. The service is prompt, and the food is fresh...a perfect end to a day of touring in Mandalay's unrelenting heat!!

The young staff really made an effort!Food was ok nothing to write home about. Spices provided were a western/Chinese type from the self/bottle nothing authentic. Wouldnât bother unless youâre afraid of what the local kitchen has to offerâ¼ï¸

The restaurant is vegetarian and no alcohol is served. But the food is great and the Lassis are out of this world. It is a typical backpacker place with a nice atmosphere - we liked it very much. Prices are fair and the service was also good, so nothing to complain.

The place has moved from it's original location but it's only a few blocks away and the new address is posted at the old spot. We didn't have any difficulty finding it. The menu does have pictures and prices when we ate there ( others have said it didnât ). One can either order from the menu or pay a flat rate of 3000 and get a plate to select 3 dishes from the wide assortment on offer. Everything was good and the prices were reasonable. It's a popular spot that overflows onto the sidewalk.

Traditional Burmese restaurant, with seven side dishes and multiple sauces. The food seems endless, the service is quick and friendly with enough English to be comfortable. The atmosphere is not posh, but it certainly seems authentic. The prices...you feel bad paying so little to get so much.

Usually I am one of the kind when they tell you at the hotel reception âyou must goâ rather go anywhere but the recommendation. This time I listened and it was an excellent and surprising experience with so many sidedishes that I have the impression I tasted everything Myanmar has to offerDue to the excellent reviews I ate raw food.Excellent, friendly service, they take credit cards and real value for money (including clean toilets, AC room and Zar Ni, head waiter, with a beautiful smile and good English)
